Weston has another race with Valli.
Clark, Horban, Gilmore and Siebler all ride Kawis.
does Regal even want to race? sure doesn't seem like it.

With the money and sponsors they are going to want a main event guy. Pooh Sipes, Goerke, or Peick seem like the only real options.

The Regal story really baffles me. Fast kid out of Texas...comes out and lights up some of the nationals...gets a ride with VMS and allegedly hates the bike, reports of issues with his dad/step dad start to surface...rides a bike for MERGE pretty well....goes to James team and does very little (not completely his fault since they didn't race outdoors)...and now he just sits in this weird state of limbo between having a ride, shopping for a ride, and doing everything but...well, RIDE. What's the deal with him? Is he lazy...I guess I'd doubt that. Would some teams rather not sign him for whatever reason? It's just odd.

H&H should throw Cody Gilmore a bone. I remember when he was battling cancer, he did an interview with a local news station here and he was rocking an H&H hat. Time to reward him for that...haha!! Woohoo

edit: I do realize that "recently"...Regal has been dealing with an injury. Still curious about why he's getting no play from anyone

Regal doesn't get play because he hasn't performed in supercross. That comes straight from a team manager.

I thought I read on Twitter that Regal was going to race Daytona out of his van?

As far as replacement riders, seems like everyone that is in that classification is already replaceing someone, ie Peick on Star, Kiniry on Star, Sipes on Nick Weys team, etc.

I dont know why Kenny ruled out the Australian Mackie so fast?

Maybe they should get the best lites rider who isnt on a team and give him a shot?

Blose said a whikle back he was out for pretty much the rest of SX... Sipes took his spot on the Motosport Kawi team with Wey.

The only decent option is Peick after he,s done at Valli..if they want to let him go.

Or what about Bowers? He did alright on a 450 the last 3 races last year... and was 10th fastest in the Lites main with a bike problem before his crash this week.

Regal has had better results indoors than Peick. The reason Regal doesn't have a ride right now and isn't racing is because he had a badly dislocated hip right before the season started.

And that's with sitting out 4 races due to injury.

Regal only wanted a factory ride.

He turned down offers from BTO and such.

It would be awesome to see them throw a true privateer on one of those 3 bikes... a great kid like Mikey Horban 143 would be awesome. I am sure the kid would start making mains......

I would think Cody Mackie, Gavin Faith, Tommy Hahn, or Billy Laninovich would be good fill in riders.

I don't know anything about Mackie but he has a great riding style, maybe a little tentative in the whoops but looks good everywhere else. Watched him in practice at A2 and he looked great for a guy I never heard of.

He could still be riding for JWR, but his Visa prevented him
