Level, atleast u can man up n be cool unlike 98% of the other dicks who will keep on n on. I have respect for that more then anything!

Dirtnapper, no one needs to apologize, when shit goes down u see the size of a man not by his ego to keep an argument going but by the bullshit he doesn't let keep going if he's wrong. Maybe 60% of u thought I was out there riding around not caring, this was a great way to clarify that I am trying n I'm not out there for no reason. Level is a better guy then I thought at first.

When i was younger and did very well in distance running , you go through ups and downs depending on injuries and other things going on around you , i cant believe how consistant these guys are at such a high risk sport that requires so much mentally and physically from an individual . Now days its easier for me to stay safely on the couch talk about what i would do if i was in so and so's position in life or on the track .

This is the worst thing about our sport. They put 20 riders on the gate and 15 of them don't have a chance in hell of winning the race unless of mud, first turn crash, pile up, act of god, etc.....
Do we need 20 riders on the gate? Why not just the 5 who have the talent, equipment, private tracks, personal trainers, millions in the bank, etc? And if not, then why not put 65 riders on the gate?
The 450 SX class is not to gain experience. There are not 20 riders on the planet that can win a SX class main. What is up with the filler material? Just to add cred for the sake of TV ratings? Obama job creation plan?

Funny how the nats have stop watch qualifying when single lap times don't mean shit in an actual outdoor nasty but SX has qualifiers when lap times mean the world. Go to a 101% qualifying rule for the mains. (ala F1). Only those within 1% of the top qualifier gets into the main. Some events that may be 3 guys but at least it weeds out those who can't win the race if their life depended upon it. Or stop calling it a race and call it a show.

Thanks Jeff. I'm definitely not sucking up to you just because your a pro rider but I definitely didn't expect you to respond and eat so much crow but glad you did. lol.

If I called a member out and he defended himself then I would do the same. I didn't know everything that was going on with you and watching your career for so long I wanted to see you do better. Now I know the whole story. I couldn't imagine racing at the level you guys do. It's simply amazing. We as fans tend to lose perspective on things at times.

I should be in Atlanta tomorrow and if I'm in the pits and get a chance to meet you I will. Keep up the good work and sorry for being a dick.

I meant the concept not the number. 107% does not eliminate the dead wood in F1. But Bernie likes his money like Feld. No way Feld would spend a million dollars and risk having only 3-5 riders on the gate. It's a entertainment industry show first. Fill the gate so it looks like a legit event.

I hope I am wrong and Jason Thomas wins the main event this weekend in Atlanta. If he's on the line he is racing for the win right?

Show me one sport that has more than 5 individuals competing at once where everone is genuinely competing for the win.




Also, the fact that a lot of people only talk about 'winning' pisses me off so much. I can be a lot more stoked if a privateer like Michael Leib gets a 7th place than if Barcia gets his 20th win.

Alright, I think I can give 12 decent laps for y'all in this main, after that I'm gonna see how I feel! I felt pretty good in the heat on lap 8 other then a lil pump but I was riding really really smooth n didn't have to push it to hard until the last 2 laps when Bobby started pushing it to catch me. So hopefully I can just ride like that n possibly hold on for 20 if James doesn't catch me b4 then (wishful thinking for the time being.) I'm gonna head down soon n catch some of the lights action, hoping to see hoping to see d35 n bambam have a good one out there! N hope everyone stays safe.

Damn, wish I didn't miss this. Not the misunderstanding part Wink but Jeff checking in from the race is pure awesomeness. One thing I know is the Alessi's are great for the fans. How do you get two sons racing in SX & MX, insane. It would be rad if this happens again and maybe others treat us computards to a little of their time. I know they do on Twitter and Fishbook, but on Vital would be cooler,more down to earth,in the trenches with the joes.
