We have been supplying the Alessi's with Pistons, Cams and CNC ported heads this year. Looks like they are working pretty well. Also against the popular opinion here Tony has not been a problem to work with. He just wants the best for his kids.

Wants the best for his kids? Because abviously decoaster doesnt know what he is talking about? And Jeff Factotory KTM may have been his best ride.. Mike would have been a lot better if his dad let him go bro and just stayed out of the picture..
Not saying the pistons and cams didnt help with the holeshot, but alessi boys are amazing at starts.. Thats how they won most the amauter stuff. IMO..

The pistons and cams are obviously good I just don't understand why they constantly need to be doing questionable things.

Too bad for the gate controversy but on the other hand, we all know that Mike can do it any given night! Good to see them out there. What the hell is wrong with Jeff? Before the season started, there was a member here claiming that Jeff had more talent than Mike and that this year he was going to kill it, blah, blah, blah. He seems slower this year than previous years.

Where can I get me some of these fancy pistons that will guarantee me a holeshot and then fade when it counts?

I noticed that holeshot the other night. Those are two well mannered young men who represent their sponsors well. Fan friendly I guess you could say.

This post had terrific intentions...and will soon hit the dumbgeon with negative reviews.

Good for you to make a praising post about the alessi's...they haven't ever done me wrong, so I don't carry any ill-will.

Jeff did not have the engine package pryor to this race .Now that he has it we will just have to see if they both get good hole shots the next race .Both bikes were gaining ground on the rest of the bikes the entire start and as short as they are thats substantial .May be part of the reason the boys got good hole shots when they were riding 250s was because they made more power than the factory honda 250s i had seen dyno graphs from andrew shorts honda and the allessi hondas .Im not giving all the credit to the bikes though but when you have 2 of the same bikes out front by quite a margin and in front of factory bikes theres somthing to that engine package.

The bashing comes from the fact that the name Alessi is synonymous with stuff that borders on cheating. If you listen to what just guys who race against the Alessis have to say about them in interviews or atricles you will quickly come to the conclusion that they are not liked in the pits.

The best way to sum it up is last year in the Nats a single digit guy was asked about lapping Alessi and his response was " Yea Alessi was all over the track blocking me, you know, typical Alessi stuff"

The "typical Alessi stuff" is similar to what Ive heard from a lot of riders.

You should listen to the PulpMX show from this past Monday.

Interesting story about Alessi lining up sideways in the gate at the last minute and some other gate jumping shenanigans in Germany.

I dont have a library of links, its just a culmination of comments Ive heard from riders that have stuck in my head.

I'm sure there was a discussion in the MotoConcepts pit after the race about Jeff taking Mike wide.

It's too bad Jeff does 3 laps then rolls around the rest of the race being a hazard. Once riders start doing that they should get black flagged, they're not gaining any positions. There are a lot of guys who would race the whole race given the chance. Props to him for making the main though.

He didn't just not line up straight. He plain flat changed gates right before the gate went down. That is illegal by rule. I'm surprised he has not been docked places. Hell, I'd DQ the fuctard.

I wonder if two brothers have ever holeshot a main, going one-two like that? That is pretty sweet. It sucks that he pulled an illegal move to do it though. DC was calling mike one of the greatest starters in the sports history in his second year as a pro. I wonder when we have to second guess that.

Changed gates? You mean the most prominent moto series in the world has empty gates? LOL I guess no one else wanted the one he moved to?

I guess you could get a holeshot on a 125. If you don't think an engine has anything to do with a start in a Pro SX race then all the race teams must be stupid to spend all the effort they do on engine work. I don't know what I was thinking posting on here no one really wants to know anything they just want to trash people. Sorry I won't do it again. Enjoy playing with yourselves.

If you listen to the PulpMX show monday, the Alessis have a "reputation"

it seems they don't play fair?

I am not sure who "decoaster" is, but i am pretty sure that it took more then just good starts for them to win races. Usually, you need to ride the rest of the race fast also. Jeff just proved that with this holeshot.
