Enjoy it my friend.

It can be a scary world when you step out into it and take a real look around.
What you seem to be bitter about? Last I checked I thought you worked in a studio, not as Meytals guidance counselor or manager. I'll be sure to ask you what the weather is gonna be next time I step out in the real world.

Looks like that Meytal chick has bitten you in the ass again.

I'm guessing she's in your head for you to bring her up after all this time. Some can't handle the success of others.

You really should stop digging. The deeper it gets, the harder it's going to be to climb out of.

Dig out from what? A boyband fan who got his feelings hurt so bad over my opinion of Lambert that he brought up a video I posted from 2 years ago? Have we been in your head this long bro? Shocked

When he pulled this off on country week,

I knew this cat was Rob Halford reincarnate.

And when Simon didn't get it. I laughed my ass off.
Sounds like KD Lang.

Kind of does.
The guy does his own thing and doesn't give two shits about what other thinks.

That's a true artist, and I have to respect that.

Paul Rogers is one of my favorite vocalists ever. I thought it an odd combo when he joined Queen. Martell is an amazing singer that some may think is blessed with an uncanny ability to approximate Mercury. I'm not so certain it's a blessing. It's already been done. No matter how well you do it. I would council him to stay with his own band if I had the opportunity.

Youtube'd him. Ugh. Sounds like shit. Hate to say it, but it sounds like a money-making move. Wouldn't get a dime out of me to see him rape Mercury's work.

I am not a Lambert fan, and I don't know all that much about him. But you seem to be obsessed with all of this "boy band" shit. I understand that I don't know a lot about Lambert, but I am not aware of him being in a boy band.

Do you have an inside line on the "boy band" stuff that the rest of us don't know about?

Wow! Did my opinion of Lambert sit on your conscience for another 24 hours to think of a response? Seeing a grown man so disgruntled over ones opinion of Lambert bother him that much is really sad. I'm sure glad we don't have teenage female Lambert fans here reading my comment. That would be even more tragic.

My opinion of Lambert isn't much different then what the majority in here posted. But since I seem to be in your head I can see when I'm the one giving the opinion you don't hesitate to react. Don't lose another 2 years sleep over me. Pinch

Trust me on this. I don't give two shits about what you think. I am not a big Lambert fan, in fact, I don't even know anything about his work. I do know that he could care less about what some Meytal metal head thinks, and he will do what ever he feels like doing. The only reason that I posted that Meytal vid was to show people that you know nothing about music. I am sure that you and all of your "boy band" knowledge trumps the likes of Brian May and Roger Taylor choice of who they want to front their band.

BTW:

Adios douche bag.

Laughing Laughing Laughing You even sound like one of them Lambert groupies. We all gave our opinions on Lambert but you just can't seem to cope with mine.

Proof that I'm in your head and that you seem to have a problem with metal heads. You should seek some counseling for that. And let me know when you replace Adler or get invited to a Modern Drummer festival. Whistling

KDX Man I would be interested to hear your opinion of several drummers I've liked as a fan.

Neal Smith - Alice Cooper

Bill Bruford - Yes

Alan White - Yes

Smile I feel the same way. Kind of a relief..

I've been a big fan of Yes also. Bruford and White had quite different styles at least to my untrained ear. I'd be interested in what he had to say about them too. Also Tim Alexander of Primus.

Guess you'll be waiting for quite some time on that new Queen/Lambert CD. It was a false rumor.

Sorry but if we are going to talk about drummers I gotta go old school......

Tommy Aldridge from back in the Black Oak Arkansas days and on through Ozzy and Whitesnake....real bluesy feel to his stuff and yet one of the first guys I ever saw use a double-bass kit.

Myron Grombacher......played with Rick Derringer back in the day and on up through playing with Pat Benetar. Incredible pop on the snare and great rhythm chops
I knew one of Myron's drum techs, he told me that Grombacher hit the snare so hard they would actually laminate 2 drum heads together for the snare so he could play it for more than an hour without breaking the head.

And then there is this guy......Joe Morello. I know, I know...Jazz not rock but in case you thought that JP Jones from Zepplin invented the bare hands solo.......watch.

The guy who I really like to watch is Tommy Aldridge. I got to see him play for 2 hours from only 20 feet away once, and meet him after the show. Really cool guy and incredible talent.
