Hi everybody, my family and I had a 32 foot black Pace enclosed trailer stolen from Golf Farm located in Wauconda, IL on the night of Tuesday Jan 31st. The trailer has a big skidoo decal on back and Petersen Racing Decals on the sides some time in the last 24 hours! There was also a yellow 2007 skidoo 440 and a white 2009 skidoo 600 inside the trailer with #112 number plates on both sleds. Please contact Dan 815.276.3626 or Brian 815.276.3624 asap if you have any info or seen this trailer on the road! Also, text me (Brian) if you need pictures to identify the trailer or sleds. Please help us catch these guys so we can get back to doing what we love as soon as possible, thanks everyone!

I hope you find who did it. I have no tolerance for a thief.

A friend of mine is involved in a small dirt track car racing team. They had a good sized enclosed hauler stolen with a race car still inside a couple years ago and only 1 thing saved them. When they got the large decals printed with name and number for the sides of the trailer, they had 1 extra when they were finished, so they put it on the roof just because they didn't want it to be ruined laying around the shop.

After it was stolen, they paid a local guy with a crop duster to fly them around and ended up finding it at a house way off the beaten path with all the stickers stripped off the sides. When they went with the sherriff to the residence, they guy said it was his. besides the lack of registration, he didn't have a leg to stand on when they showed him the sticker on the roof.

I always avoid stickers on my trailer. Like pasting a big advertisement to theives. I know someone that once put a Port a Potty Servicing stickers on the trailer to deter theives. Keep your eyes peeled at local riding areas and craigslist my friend. Has worked for many users on here.

Wow that's a hell of a rig to swipe , I hope they catch them but that almost seems like professional thieves.

thats what we were thinking until we realized they hadnt put aways the sliding stairs and instead drove with it thru the lot and also left with a ladder on the side that was not locked on at all. We believe we were targeted as other trailers that werent locked and nicer than ours were simply left in the pit area.

i wish we could just shoot all theives in the face. There are posts like this over and over and over on every web board I frequent (dirtbike, streetbike, dualsport boards, etc) because we as a society tolerate it. Theives get a light slap on the wrist and are right back out there stealing for a living the next day. There is no justice for property crime victims.

First sign of good news yet, we found the trailer but the sleds were unloaded. Be on the lookout for the two sleds previously described. Thanks everyone!
Update: the trailer was said to have been getting pulled by a black chevy last night at 7 near Elgin, IL but the trailer was found in Wadsworth, IL today so the sleds could be anywhere. Please be on the lookout everywhere!

Now go ask around where it was stolen for anyone working or spending time around there that might be driving a Black truck capable of hauling that trailer.
