Cool idea - but I'd be a little worried about whether you could brake hard without locking up both wheels. The tow bike would probably be lighter than the trailer/bike combo and the trailer attachment point looks pretty high up on the chassis. If the bike/trailer weighs about 600# and 10% is tongue weight, that'd be like having a sack of concrete hanging off the tow bike behind the rear wheel. But - you never know what you can do 'till you try.

Looks cool, but I'd bet that a Geo Metro with the trailer would do much better, mileage-wise. Wouldn't look even a tiny bit cool, but it would be more fuel efficient and practical.

I doubt with that trailer it does a whole lot better than my 29mpg... plus I still got room for the ez-up, cooler and bike stand...

So that every crack on the freeway makes your "suv" bottom out... I use to do that but I wasnt really saving gas with the 5.3 gas guzzling Tahoe

They need to go back to street legal enduro bikes like the old Yamaha DT-! and ride your bike to the track. Triples or heck even doubles would be out of the question tho. Dry

I know some old school guys that used to ride TS Suzuki's in the '70's. They would ride to the track, race, then bum gas to ride home.

Back when I was a kid racing back east, My race rig was a Honda crx and a tinny little trailer just big enough for one bike and a fews tools. I was way ahead of my time.
