Sipes, Baggett, Roczen, Musquin, Osborne, Anstie, Anderson, Tomac, Rattray, Swanepole,Moss, Larson, Seeley, Hahn...

Field is stacked ....Who is the favourite?....right now I will say Blake Baggett... if he is on and gets the starts he will be tough to beat. Musquin, Roczen and Tomac should all be right there too if they get the start.

Great starts ( ten minutes isn't much time to come back through a stacked field) will be the key to such a short championship.

It may be the best starter as opposed to the fastest rider that wins the championship out of the main guys.

Has Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki actually announced which riders are going where?

I'm really looking forward to see how Osborne does. Should be some great racing for sure.

I think Moss and Larsen will push each other on the practice track, and hopefully both those guys come out firing. Moss to finish top 5

Why is that stacked?? Its either going to be Baggett, Roczen, or Tomac that wins..my money is on Baggett right now. I'm guessing you think its stacked because it has a lot of GP (or non-American riders)...

Edit: Sipes is a great rider and I think will contest for wins, but he always seems to have some kind of bad luck or bad result at one round, and sometimes thats all it takes to lose a title. Musquin hasn't impressed me indoors yet.

Didn't Roczen win one of the mains at Vegas last year? He will be up there I think.

I think its stacked because of all the names in the list that are quality riders... nothing to do with GP riders.

All of those guys mentioned are capable of a top five.... and at minimum six are capable of winning races.

You underestimate Musquin then. He is a class act at supecross, very technical rider. But like I say in that field it is all about the starts.

Like a week ago I watched SX lites from 2007 and noticed Musquins name, so this isn't the first year in sx? He rode a kawi #525.

NOT...by a long shot...4-5 on a Runaway and the rest battling over what's left.

The real craziness will be on the big bikes...and it's about time, too.

Isn't Christian Craig doing the west coast as well? I was hoping he would be on a 450 since he rides one so well. Seems a little big for a lites bike.....but if he's on the west coast.....I wouldn't count him out of making any trips to the box.

I agree with you. The "idea" of the regional titles was to make it cheaper for a privateer. Pfffffft.

My pick is Seely. He was on fire last year and was only 7 points out of first before 2 mechanical DNF's. I really hope that is the rider list. Going to be stacked.

East will be stacked as well assuming barcia, Wilson, Durham, mookie, bogle, and peters..I'm sure we forgot alot who will still do well on any given night. Ready for outdoors so no one avoids eachother .
12/26/2011 1:41pm
I hope during the west coast rounds, Mookie's team puts him on a 350sx and he makes solid contact with JS7. not the contact where its like "did they touch" but the contact where Ralph Shaheen's voice cracks like gradeschooler and all Emig can muster are gutteral noises for at least 15 seconds after it happens. That would be a first in SX I believe. Lord knows we havent seen everything else over the years.
