Just wondering what the worst heat or race ever was when it comes to aggressive riding or just plain outright dirty.

Pretty sure the two worst/aggressive both had Chicken in them. LOL. Him and Bradshaw and Him and Big Bird. It was when men were men, no pussy footin.

Yup, i had the JM in mind..he had a zero tolerance policy when on track...Bradshaw was rough....JLaw is pretty rough on the slower riders at practice tracks...

How many riders ever got black flagged and removed from the track for numerous offences in a heat?

You obviously weren't watching ME racing when I got back in 20 years ago. You're life wasn't worth anywhere NEAR what that $10 gaudy piece of plastic was. At 6'6" and 240, there was a quarter ton of mayhem screaming into the corners, consequences be damned. Didn't make any friends back in those days, but I got LOTS of trophies. Hell, my best friend looked over his shoulder in PRACTICE and pulled off the track when he saw me coming! Lol

I'm pretty sure Hannah might stick his name in this conversation.

I remember seeing videos of him actually kicking another rider/bike who was on the outside of him at a national. Those guys played rough too.

Rick Johnson put quite few top riders into the cheap seats before.

RC was brutal on guys.

Whatever Stanton did to the Belgian dude at the MXdN.

The Russians vs. Falta

Malherber vs. Lackey

I've never seen guys hit each other as hard as Shultz and Magoo did over an over at Plymouth once, but I think they were doing it for fun.

How about Langston vs. Alessi finish line corner or the Alessi/Tedesco incident?

That wasn't aggressive, that was going all in for the win.

Jaroslav Falta almost won the 1974 250cc world championship, however the Russian federation drafted in a bunch of Russian ringers to take him out during the final race of the season, they would actually wait and let him lap them then run him off the track.

Russian Guennady Moisseev cheated his way to the title that year as a result of the most choreographed, organized and sanctioned piece of dirty riding in the history of the sport.

One of my favorite passes in history. DV came in hot on Windham the corner before - Windham showed him that he didn't appreciate it.

Ryan Hughes and Mike Brown at Budds Creek in 2003. Brown rammed him and broke Ryno's leg.

Grant Langston chopping off Bobby Bonds at the top of a downhill at Hangtown in 2001. Bonds never really recovered from that.

Langston and Mike Brown at every national in 2001. The AMA warned them over their aggressive riding and I believe threatened to bench them.

Lots of aggressive riding going for wins, but these moves were out right dirty with the worst of intentions.

I'm not saying they were dirty. but they were both aggressive riders for sure
Im a fan of both and I thought that was one hell of a race

Barcia, the way SX tracks are nowadays seem to encourage his antics too,if a guy is leading and Barcia within 5 bike lenghts its only a matter of time before he short-cuts a corner in a potential take out move, the guy certainly is a hot-head and has been involved in a lot of incidents,Bercy was disgusting

after he ran you over,
the next moto he would brag on the line and point you out to the other racers and tell them to run you over.

As far as dirty riders go, Hansen and Sorby are near the top of the list.

Ryan Hughes and Mike Brown at Budds Creek in 2003 was the hardest, fastest and longest that two riders have battled in my memory. Those two flying and banging was a classic. Does anyone have the video?
