Hi
Good stuff. I must be getting old...I was gonna complain the 90s stuff is too new. Those 92 CR250s still look pretty modern to me. I though the 91-92 RMs looked great once you nuked the stock seat cover and put backgrounds on the side panels. The shroud graphics fell off the first time you pressure washed em anyway.

You can see why just looking at that 83 KX80 how advanced it was over the other 80s that year.

Funny how trick those late 80s early 90s KTMs look now. There were only 2 KTM dealers within 100 miles of me growing up. A friend had the miserable 86? KTM 80mx. He came off an 81 YZ80 and wanted it back...

I pretty much have every Moto mag going back to about 1979, I have been going through all of them and scanning the pics I like. Easier to enjoy them that way than to root through stacks of mags if I want to find a pic. I just figured I would post them all to my Flickr account so others could enjoy them too.
Thank you so much. I enjoy reading this stuff more than anything else.

I used to sit in my high school library in the cold early morning hours and stare dreamily at this ad in 1982/83.

That's right! So did I. This was the first real MX bike I ever rode. It was brand new. And I was absolutely thrilled. My high school buddies bike. All I ever rode before this were Honda trail 70's. Big difference! Long time ago, but I remember the hell out of it.

Been a RM guy since.

My bike: 2006 RM 250. I bought it new.

I like the way right-side-up forks look. Especially the leading-axle type.
