Couldn’t agree more! My ‘01 YZ250 and ‘82 CR480 put a smile on my face every time I see them. Whether race day or practice, I have the time of my life!

Mine too! Handled great, fast and the ergos were amazing! I sold my POS 96 CR250 and bought a 99. One of the best moto decisions I ever made.

Decal Works took my card info before anything was done. Being serious about getting a set of custom graphics made, I would expect nothing less from any company doing the same thing. If someone wants you to create a design for them before they would pay ... more »

I called them 3 months ago to do a set like this for my '00 YZ250 and was told absolutely not, they couldn't make that design anymore but they had standard designs... I called Decal Works and with in a week had a McGrath replica - the one I had wanted

It's nice to see all of the casual fans comment on this. Maybe you stick to soccer or tennis where touching is strictly prohibited and when someone gets a boo-boo there is hell to pay! Anyone who has ever raced knows why Osbourne came in hard. Savatgy ... more »

I was expecting some seriously sketchy jumps and hard pack/blue groove clay track, but that looks like a really fun track! I would definitely ride there!

Nope, no response or PM - weird. Anyway, I measured everything up last night against the stock units and while the Mugens are 5/8" shorter from the center of the axle clamp to the top of the fork cap, once in the clamps the Mugens only lose about 1/4" ... more »

That's the conclusion I've come to also. Oldnslo, what bike do you have yours on? Is it possible to put them on my 480 and race it? They are the same length as the stock units but they look like they have less travel. Any insight?

That bike is an '81 from Europe - here's the link to the page I found it on http://mxinsiders.blogspot.com/2010/04/mugen-for-sale.html

These are definitely 43mm. I bought a '82 480 front end (with correct forks!) - I rebuilt the '82 KYB's and put the 43mm fork seals in them - and the Mugens (?) fit like a glove in those triples I know what you're saying about the knurled part. I gave

I'm hoping someone might be able to tell me what kind of forks these are. I'm guessing they're Mugen. They came on an '82 CR480 and I assumed they were stock. They needed some love so I sent them to Race Tech and they had no idea what they are. The only

Does it start easy? I'm thinking it might be reeds? I had a '99 and I don't remember a lot on top and the fly wheel weight really wouldn't help it out any. Awesome bike though! I don't care what any says, the '99 was a great machine!
