I like it better without the emblem... not "10%" better tho

I saw where they revived the old "Crotch Rocket Factory" and put it on the KTM pipes for one team. Why not just rebadge it to that? I'm sure Donny still owns the right to that name.

There is no mention of Kawi. Even if there was, JGR didn't win anything of significance to get added to the list.

I like it, but I like a lot of things about FMF. Lots of history there and Emler continues to pour advertising dollars into the 2 stroke market when people in the industry insist there is little to no interest in 2 strokes. Uncle Donnie knows what's up though.Smile

How many jackasses here on Vital want to take a stab at Emler claiming he wants it to be 1999 all over or something else stupid? Nostalgic? LMAO.Ultimately, Emler remembers what got him here and I can appreciate that.

go away monster, selling sugar to kids doesn't give you the right to claim to care about mx/sx
And you think that FMF getting into the energy drink business had nothing to do with their pipe decals getting pulled and their sponsors decals removed?

Think Chevy would sponsor a Ford? Would Rockstar pay to sponsor a rider who was also running Red Bull sponsorship?

Yo sir, just don't get it.

Almost posted a thread about this add myself... glad I used the search bar first and avoided the "old news" bashing, lol... I myself use Procircuit pipes, but this add is WIN all the way. Thumbs up to FMF!

Yeah I'm not impressed with FMF. I have the powercore 4.1 & I have owned it for a year now & I think the thing has spent more time being fixed & off my bike than it was on my bike & used. It has broke in every place you could think of, Even the poorly cheap weld broke on the mount , so I know have a 300 dollar can piece of shit that FMF won't warranty. All this happen to with in the 1st few months, also no crashes just riding. I have almost spent the same amount of money in repair of this POS as much as I paid to buy it brand new.... Good work FMF you royally suck!!!!

About this "ad" from a purely analytical point:

FMF is still "on the fence" in regards to "What" is going to happen to this "Relationship" in 2012; yet, they go ahead and run this ad...
Interesting, to say the least.
There are more than a coupl'a ways to look at this:
1. Monster + Kawasaki are pushing the Team back to P.C. due to Branding, Politics and/or "Respect".
2. FMF figures they're "Out" no matter what...so..."F-it"...let's get some press outta this while we can.
3. FMF had the JGR deal on the books and that means JS7; so, who cares "Who" decides to run "Which" pipe...?
4. Big D and Lil D are jus' tired about giving a shit so..."F-it"...run the ad.
5. They'd thought out the whole "Drink" thing a lot more than anyone seems to realize and they are just getting the most out of this while they can.
6. "We came, We saw, We CONQUERED, We're OUT!" (Big D drops the Mic as he leaves the room. End of Scene)

Lots of times when mounts and stuff break on exhaust it's because it is mounted incorrectly, do you use a torque wrench?

Maybe FMF doesn't royally suck, maybe your a shitty mechanic?

Same here! I've had a full Ti system w/mega bomb on my 09' KX450F since I got the bike new. Now I've sold the bike to another A rider and he's still running without so much as a hint of a problem. As soon as I bust my 2012 out of the crate, I'm putting the system from this ad on it.

If I had a nickel for every time I was told "no crashes, just riding"...I would fuggin' OWN FMF by now. No crashes...just riding...first few months....Either you don't ride very hard, or you're one of the best to ever swing a leg over a bike if you have not had so much as a tip over in that time frame....just sayin'

I have had quite a few different FMF pipes and silencers over the years and have always been very happy with them. I have smashed a few expansion chambers over the years though but that goes for stockers and PC as well.

Same here. I have had the same fatty on my KTM 300 for 4 years.
One particular race there was ice under the dirt. As the temp warmed up it turned into a skating rink. A couple of times I fell just by thinking about braking, not even touching the brakes. The pipe got a bit dented but that's about it. No broken weld.

Too many quotes and sounds like there is a lot of "figuring" going on here. The ad was short/ sweet and to the point, regardless of all the political details, people are still talking about it. Thanks for the fame based on my slogan!! Oh and good luck to EVERYONE in the 2012 season, regardless of what exhaust you choose to run. Cool

Fantastic add. I think people on here don't really understand marketing. If an add gets your attention and gets people talking then you have done your job. By the looks of this thread it got people talking. Good or bad.
