i hope he qualifies, with the small turn out that might be very realistic. but then again, he might be way faster than i anticipate.

With several of the big name guys dropping out Monster must have slid him a few bucks to try and draw more fans. Last week Damon said he just was not ready for a race at that level.

Damons racing the Idaho SX right now with Wey, Anderson, Siebler and a few others.
Be interesting to see those results and see if he is up to Monster Energy Cup.
I know in a interview with Moto X Addicts he said ME Cup was a possibility.

Damon Bradshaw is my all time fav rider, so much so my sons midde name is Bradshaw, he has no chance of winning. Hope he is able to qualify though. Damn, now I want to go!!!

Bradshaw was bad ass in his time, but this might be a mistake. On one hand i'd like to see it, on the other I hope he doesn't embarrass himself.

Yeah there was a link to an interview with him posted here awhile ago and I know he was riding with support from a KTM dealer near him. I'm pretty sure I remember he said he was racing the 350 also.

Also........George Foreman is not the oldest champ ever ( any more ). Bernard Hopkins Took that title away from George a while ago.

Back to the MEC......Damon may surprise a few people when he lines up. Cracks me up when people bag on +30 or +40 riders that used to be fast. Ask guys that live in cali about Dave Coupe'. He is in his mid to later 40's and still mops up on a lot of the younger local pro's. You don't lose all that " much" speed , but your timing and so forth starts to fade a little. I'll be rooting for Damon if he shows up.

Dunno if he'll be a winner, but if he's training and riding like everyone says he is; he could suprise everyone and put in a strong finish if he shows up. I'd expect him to finish between 5-10th place. Just my opinion...
