I became a big fan when he came back to the outdoors. Don't go away any time soon Chad.

Its time for Skippy to join Zulu on the sidelines and let the kiddos rattle sabers from here on. With the Canards & Barcia types coming up, its just gonna get harder and harder consider we still have the Ryans and J$7 in the mix.

Good call!

He has had a great season and I have enjoyed watching him ride that Honda. I like where he is at in his career now. You may disagree but I don't really consider him a threat for the championships (even though he was) but rather a threat to get wins and give the new guys fits.

He wants to top Bubba's SX win list.

Same here. I couldn't stand the guy when he was racing RC, but now I think he's earned a lot of peoples respect.

Have to agree on that one. Only left to ponder who the MX championship would have gone to without the Millville skyshot. Wow! If anyone had doubts about his toughness before that, they were erased that day. Chad is a legend.

^^^ What he said. I couldn't agree more, he has really changed his image the last two seasons. Lets hope he can give us a couple more solid years similiar to this year. You can never count this guy out!

I think starting his own team was one of the best things Reed has ever done, it certainly paid off for him through fan respect!

everyone has been saying that since 2005. maybe it's you that should hang it up.

Reed had a hell of a year, i was really hoping he could win one of the championships, but still a very respectable season.

Two Two motorsports' effort was wildly epic. So cool. Impossibly cool. Congrats to all those guys. Props to Chad and Ellie for being such gutsy, and determined people.

Team 22 deserves some more backing, for sure. They showed that even with minimal support, but much heart, you can still get r dun in Mx. Gave all the best-funded, strongest teams a run for their money these last Mx and Sx seasons, for sure!
Hope they come back bigger and stronger next season, and finish what they started, still on Honda's, I hope!

They got more backing for 2012...lots more. More than some "Factories".

I disagree.

This was their building year to get things going and just be in the hunt. Now they have some experience under their belts and hopefully with a factory bike all year next year and some more support, they will be even stronger. You have to consider that Reed did not have as much time to test and get ready as everyone else, AND the time he wasn't riding was spent managing and setting everything up before the season started. And he still did awesome this year.

Honestly, there were 2 crashes that changed the course of Reed's year: 1) getting taken out by Bubba at Dallas and 2) the freak accident at Millville. That's it, that's the difference between possibly 2 championships and a 2nd & 3rd. My point is, he was THISCLOSE to it.

Next year watch out, team Two Two is gonna be even stronger!

Arguably, Chads most successful/impressive season ever, in spite of not winning a title. Considering the level of competition, and the players all present? He brought as much A-game as anyone, and looked to dominate Outdoors before Millville's crash derailed him.

Motodude, Chad was handed not only the "Moment of the Year" award at the season celebration, but he was awarded "Sportsman of the Year" as well for all that he did for the series and the sport -- in victory and defeat -- and he got some very big applause and kudos from everyone in the room.....

Which begs the question, What happened to all of that Reedy-gets-no-love-because thread? If you were a little closer, I think you would see he gets a lot of love on these shores, and it's well-deserved.

the crazy thing is how good he was when Ricky was around, Reed may or may not have been at his prime-peak of his career while Ricky definitely was. what is it, 7 years later and he is getting even better than he ever was? says a lot for his drive and determination.
