In past years they've only given the guys their practice bikes to use and no other support. If they have their race bikes and the team semi there for support you should see some decent results.

If I had to guess I'd say Colt will fall somewhere near back of the top ten and Tyler will be lucky to crack the top 15.

I don't know how fast Colt can actually go. He doesn't seem to get pushed too hard up here and doesn't actively seek out a proper challenge for his skills. I don't know if he has the mindset to step his game up to where it can be. He has the skills, but his career path seems a little conservative when it comes to seeking out real competition that can push him to be better.

That said, he was faster than I was when he was still on 80's. So take that for what it's worth.
Colton is one of the smoothest riders I have seen. He doesn't look like he's going fast then all of a sudden he's got a 30 second lead. One thing about him is he doesn't get pushed around on the track. That being said the one thing that I can see working against him is the nerves of being down at the big show. The guy is in great shape but we all know what can happen when nerves and adrenaline take over. It can work against you. From what I've seen the guy has top ten speed. Just a matter of putting it all together at the right time. I hope he does well. He's just a plain good guy. There's just nothing left for him to prove up here. He needs to take the chance whether it's gettting a ride or out of his own pocket. He needs to do like Wilson did and head down there full time.

I'm a fan of colton and don't get me wrong. I have been to the badlands many of years and cheer him on and all the other canooks, but i beleive he will be lucky to break the top 25. Even if he gets a top 5 start he will fade fast after 20 minutes.

I hope i'm wrong and CF and his family enjoy and top 5. Ya know Pops will be there for sure. Think Pops has a pretty well funded bank roll if i remember right.............

Everything that you wrote is a bit off. There is no Canadian track called the badlands, he probably won't fade fast since he's in the best shape in Canadian moto and known for wearing his opponents down and his family doesn't have a ton of money and they don't come to a lot of the races.

I think you have him mistaken with someone else, maybe Brady Sheren?
You must be high. The track at Nanimo or how ever you spell it is called the badlands/Wastelands . That's the track outside BC on the island dumb ass. And know i'm not thinking of Brady Sheren brady is 5ft nothing while Colton is gotta be atleast 6ft or better.

Sorry, not high. Been to every National for the past 6 years and had never been to one called the "badlands". Yes, there is a track called the Wastelands on Vancouver Island, which is in BC. I was asking a serious question because the rider you were describing didn't sound anything like Facciotti, thought maybe you were confused since you had the track name wrong as well. Glad you feel the need to attack me over it.

Were these guys racing that one race a couple years ago when Deano smoked everyone in 250s, and would have been the FQ in 450 practice (on a 250), when he was still an amateur? Just trying to get a judge of their speed, don't know much about Canada moto.

thats an old race 2 years ago @ Walton you can't compare speed like that., totally different track too.

this is a sand race....

Colt has great endurance he won't fade, he a good starter, if he holeshots he can run top 10.

I was at steel city in 2009 when colt was running 4th to 6th for most of the race before going down...and this was after he injured his ankle earlier in the day.
I know " woulda, coulda, shoulda, " but he looked very comfortable up there, and a bunch of people noticed.

Dean did the same thing in Edmonton two years ago. I was there. I think he won MX2 by about the same margin that Colt was beating everybody in MX1. They've never raced each other.

I think Colt beat Villipoto when RV came up to race a round of the series fresh out of his amateur days when Colt was still on the little bikes. I doubt that will ever happen again though.

He'll turn some heads.

Okay, before we throw the guy under the bus(Colton that is), let him do his own race. I know you guys will be on here just like you were with Dusty Klatt a few years ago, if he happens to have a bad day! MX fans are brutal at not seeing and giving credit, especially bench racers!! Colton is a very humble dude and I'm sure he will do his best, he is not one to go banzai, he is very smart just like JSR used to be. Wherever he finishes, he will still gain knowledge and work on what he needs to improve.

Colt had a great ride and so did the Tyler and Jeremy. They all benefited from some attrition in front of them, but that's racing and why we line and drop a gate to settle it.

They know how to ride mud too, so they may have an even better second moto.

You are a smart man.

Usually when guys try to pimp a rider they fire up a bunch of haters.

Facciotti is a good rider and his results will speak for themselves.

Not to hijack this thread with non-moto, but JG, throwing money at the military is not support. Fucking over veterans returning from a field of combat, where they have lost comrades, is the kind of "support" our military actually gets from the "reigning retards" in Ottawa. That government is more concerned about reintroducing the word "Royal" to the Navy and Air Force, spending millions of dollars in the process. Now that will go a long way to help the folks coming back to Canada minus a leg, arm, or rational mind.

Looks like Facciotti might be racing the last two Nationals under the TLD tent.

From Matthes twitter : Facciotti's been picked up by the TLD Honda team for the last two nationals. That's the word on the street anyways.Take Craig's spot I guess
