I firmly believe that if they would have stayed with Honda instead of taking the pay day he would have at least one champoinship.

Im more than impressed with Mike's performance on the Suzi.

He looks like a completely different rider now. No more flapping off the back of the bike like a dishrag like he was on the KTM.

KTM does seem to hold riders back. Especially the big bikes. Look at Nick Wey. He has ALWAYS been between 3rd-7th in Supercross on privateer bikes. Now he is on a factory KTM and he could not buy a top ten this year in Supercross. GL couldn't do squat on the big bikes either.

Dont forget McGrath. They pretty much ended his career also.

Until they win a championship I doubt they will get another top rider. Having riders like MC, Alessi, GL, and now Nick Wey dogging how bad the bikes are, they will be stuck with the B-List of riders I am afraid.

For sure it will be a tough sell to any young prospects.

The KTM 125s were dominant in Europe. Then the 250Fs started to dominate until Cairoli. Seems like they can't get the big bike sorted out yet ... although Townley was doing pretty good on it a few years back.

I was hoping Wey would card a decent result.

anything mechanical made in Austria will never be as good or as cheap as if it was made in japan. scooters included.

simple as that...they try to copy a Japanese scooters feel and handling but copying things are what the Japanese do, and you can't copy a copy or it gets washed out eventually.

The KTMs are dated, bottom line...They're still steel framed, should be the first clue that they have not accomplished their goal.

They turn well, really well, other than the way they turn, if they die in a corner, you have a button...that's the best part.

You can't come in here and bring logic. These folks will tell you that theres a difference between having no linkage in Europe and having no linkage in the USA which is their biggest defence against the KTM being a turd. Apparently there is no way a KTM can win a championship against the other big four. Just saying.........
