WOW!!! I had read the reports that things were getting better and now this. Just heart breaking.

Such harsh news. Sometimes the internet can be its own worst enemy when you hear about these gut wrenching accidents. On a positive note, hopefully the friends and family of this tough little dude can take a little comfort from the support of us moto fans. Rest in peace kiddo. Sending my condolences from England.

Heartbroken to hear the news and sending best wishes to the Varner family at this very difficult and tragic time... spent some time riding with Nick and family in 2010 and he was a really polite, nice young kid with so much passion for his bikes. Can't believe what's happened... from the bottom of my heart I hope they find the strength to get through this and my thoughts are with them all the way from England.

That may be the most powerful sentence I have ever read on this board. I don't know Terry but have friends who do. This is happening way too often.

Stuff like this makes me not love this sport so much. People can say what they want about a statement like that, but it's the truth. This is such terrible news and my heart goes out to the family, and everyone involved, and everyone in this sport. I've seen so many serious injuries and deaths in the past year, I'm about to trade in the boots for golfing shoes for good.

Once again, so incredibly sorry to hear, I didn't think it could get too much more tragic after Red Bud. RIP Nick.

RIP Nick. Condolences to the family and friends. Very sad indeed and like you I wonder if I should give it up also. I just hate this.

That line literally put a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat.

I, like most on here, do not know the Varner's personally but know of them. But as a parent this is just heart breaking. Words cannot describe feelings...
