We just went months with out a drop of rain and then it just poured for about 50 hours straight really hard. I'm at the farm and it doesn't hold any water long and it drains really well but my house where my wife is seems a few feet deep at the entrance to our neighborhood and she says there are cars broken down all over that she has to navigate around.
Stay safe out there!! We survived Hurricane Harvey here in Houston in 2017. Had 34” of rain at my place in 4 days. We didn’t even get the worst of it but nonetheless, very concerning when you have to drive through a couple feet of water to get home.
I’m in North Port and we would’ve been pretty close to the water levels you’re at if we didn’t get a break yesterday. It’s been so god damn dry the past few months.
When the subject of a lot of rain comes up i always think about Newmans house getting flooded. Didnt it happen twice in a 5 year period?
It hasnt stopped raining over here, but whats new eh
The Shop
Thanks. Its all butter after head high in my living room in the last hurricane.
Damn. Looks like you need Jet Skis for your commute.
Hope it all goes well for you.
I’m looking forward to riding some of that damp sugar sand in a few days 😎
Tropical storm Alberto might be giving the boys in South Texas all they need.
I don't think JAFO is flood prone, but folks South and East of him sure might be.
Not much rain over this way yet, about an inch. Which Im glad for cuz I put down some 18-6-6 the other day and need to get that stuff down in the root zone. Could use a bit more so hoping a few more waves move thru from Alberto.
We are getting some steady slow rain. Thank you Jesus. Most of the wheat is in so it ain't hurting harvest around this area.
I got some rain, but been stuck at home flooded in by the tide and storm surge for two days. Had few inches water in the garage, but no damage, nothing but inconvenience..
When i think of rain in Florida I always think of it being flat with slow drainage . Have seen where Miami is bad.
As far as bad luck goes...you did alright.
Yikes
Some rivers here are cresting above the 1993 record levels and still going up
Waters one hell of a force of nature. Be safe out there.
