Literally one of my fears since I was in grade school. As I was walking from the othere end of our shop I watched a small double A flashlight blow up in a mechanics mouth at our trucking company and kill him. It's why I yell at people that do that since I was 11. Most people never see this happen once but I also ran out of an O'Reilly with people as we heard a loud pop and there a guy laying on his running engine dead from a popped flashlight.

I've always said this was possible just knowing how we can tweak laptops, phones ect's batteries for more performance but then need to up the cooling. So I've always known this in theroy is possible... But now seeing it. Fuck me running.

Not gonna happen with a laptop because you need the pressure buildup that you might find with a high quality flashlight that you wouldn't find with a laptop battery.

In a vacuum it sounds perfect.  If you can pinpoint exactly who is using the device and it only does harm to that person.  

If the blast is big enough that you kill a lot of civilians with collateral damage, not so perfect.  But as we know, war is messy no matter how you try to fight it.  This could end up being the least costly method in terms of collateral damage, I suppose. 

That's going to happen anyway....
