"He is doing what he is told by those that pay his wages irrespective of the consequences."

technically, isn't that actually what a president is supposed to do?

There’s unspoken implications in “who” is paying his wages. Laughing

Strongest economic recovery ever, Jack!

If you're an egg. PreBiden $1-$2 a dozen. Since Biden $8-$10 a dozen. It's great to be recognized for your real value if you're an egg, I guess.

I'm sorry.. but I have to laugh at the fact that there are actually 8 people here (at the time of this post) who think America is "more prosperous than before he took office", despite the US entering a "not" recession, inflation hitting a 40 year high, and the national debt increasing ~$5 trillion in that time.

There's more than a few dim bulbs lurking around here.

I'm not going to argue the first two points, I'm not an economist or financial analyst, other than to say inflation is soaring across most of the world’s economies. It's currently at a 41 year high here in the UK, too.

But between 2016 and 2020 the national debt grew from $19.96 to $27.77 trillion. A 39.1% increase in four years.

In the three years under Biden, until March 1st 2023, the national debt grew from $27.77 trillion to $31.46 trillion. A 13.3% increase.

And their vote matters every bit as much as any one else.

The USA's economy drives the world economy.

I think that at the very least you’d have to measure from January 2017 to January 2021, then to January 2023. Biden has just barely over 2 years in office.

By focusing all of your energy on something you can't change it creates an illusion of safety / martyrdom in which if you don't succeed, you have an escape because you can chalk it up to, "I was never going to win anyways – but I put up a hell of a fight". This is why so many people in the states make "the president" or "the government" or "the truth" their sole focus instead of directing their energy on local issues (things they can actually have a massive impact on). Not saying it can't be done, but true change takes a lot more work than mouthing off online or voting once a year.

What I'd like to know from philG is, outside of posting about all the awful things about America, what has he done (with tangible results) to improve his own community / country.

To get back on topic.

The answer is, no.

Nothing positive.

Everything detrimental, is the only way the question could be answered with a,  yes.

Well that's not all true. If you're a greenie,  or cartel leader, you're funding and/or ability to make billions went way up. But if you work for CNN, you might be waiting on a pink slip if you haven't already gotten it.
