Same as every President or Vice President.
They all have shit they might not be allowed to.
We found out when Hillary had her private server that law enforcement doesn't give a fuck. She was sloppy. Let's see if Orange man gets the same pass.
Biden? Somebody else with half a brain will announce his excuse. I'm sure he's watching cat videos on youtube.
Lol. This will be a good test to prove just how partisan and “fanboi” many members are here.
It does appear that there are some significant differences between the Trump docs and the Biden docs.
But none the less, it will be interesting to see if those that said Trump did nothing wrong will express the same slack to Biden, and visa-versa. Those that thought trump should go straight to jail, surely will have to go pretty hard at Biden.
Im waitin' for the FBI raid !

....make it a threesome...throw Hillary in there with them.
There is a difference between say a President Trump, who has the ability to declassify documents and the Vice President Biden or say Secretary of State Clinton, who cannot declassify. Not exactly apples to oranges. So Trump has nothing to do with it really.
Were all of the docs Trump had declassified though? There is also a difference as to what the respective presidents did when alerted to the fact that they still had documents that they should not have.
if anyone thinks one guy is squeaky clean and the other guy is totally in the wrong, no matter which way you think it goes. Then you are so biased and just seeing your “team” through rose colored glasses.
Both clearly have a case to answer, either though negligence or incompetence, both retained documents they should not have.
My criticism of the bias is aimed equally at both sides.
Well to answer your question, I guess we will see, where the "criminal case" claimed by the FBI to get the warrant, goes?
But in Trumps defense, he can declassify anything he wants. There is no procedure or protocol, He says, I have no Classified documents and Boom he has no classified documents. Doesn't really matter the goal of the raid on Mar-a-Lago, was really just to slap Trump around make some slanderous headlines before the midterms claim he had "Nuclear secrets" etc.
Meanwhile Biden, lol allegedly also has classified documents from when he was VP.
This guy....talks to a salvation army guy about spending time with the secret service in Poland and Ukraine, while visiting the US border. Even the salvation army guy is like WTF?
Exactly.
This is just another cheap ass, political witch hunt.
The guy is on the hook for sooooo much more than a volume of paper that, when all is said and done, amount to nothing.
Afghanistan.
The Ukraine money dumps.
The total destruction of our southern border.
The failing economic record.
The business/money ties to the Chinese government.
(Which is at the heart of that damn laptop his idiot son lost track of)
Weaponizing federal agencies.
(BTW, Congress pulled the funding for the 87,000 member IRS army !!!)
There's bigger fish to fry than a box of paper.
Did nobody read what actually happened? When Biden's Lawyer and others found the documents they immediately contacted the National Archives and gave them the documents the next day.
12 documents. Given to the Archives immediately after found.
This is nothing like Trump hoarding boxes of known classified material in an unlocked location. I would be the very first to jump and say "lock 'em up" like we should be, however this case is extremely different.
Also, as an IT person, Hillary should have gotten some sort of "punishment" for the email server, that was ridiculous. Ya'll need to be more un-biased. Each side has people that need to go to jail and we need to hold them all accountable, not just "the other side".
You seem to be skipping over the part that Biden did not have the authority to remove the documents in the first place. When his lawyers returned the documents, did they also return the copies that were made? Did they also forward the list of people that had access and perhaps reviewed these documents? Trumps documents were essentially in his possession, whereas Biden had taken and stored the documents at an unsecured third-party location.
Your assessment of the Hilliary server debacle just goes to show, it is "just the other side."
This, except that I think malfeasance in office is equal to treason, and traitors are put to death, not locked up.
Trump had classified documents, in his main residence. That home is protected 24/7 by Secret Service agents even if Trump is somewhere else.
Biden had classified documents from when he was VP. He used the office from 2017-2020, so those documents have been in his former office in a less secure public building since at least 2017. In a "locked closet" in an unused office.
What are the odds of someone being able to access a "locked closet" in a public building in an office that had not been used in years, versus the odds of someone getting past Secret Service into a Presidents home office?
Oh, and they found them the week before the election but somehow did not mention it until months later. And they were "found" by his lawyers, how many people send lawyers to clean out an office? Someone else found them first, reported it, and then they sent the lawyers to try and clean it up.
But like everything Biden, nothing to see here lets all move along.
Mother Theresa, probably wouldn't make it through the midterms.
No President would be alive to serve a second term.
"(BTW, Congress pulled the funding for the 87,000 member IRS army !!!)"
So they voted and passed that in the house but doesn't it need to be followed by the senate also and signed by the president? Not sure how that works.
It was bad, the 12 documents are just as a concern as Trumps documents - I agree. They need to make public (as much as possible) the contents of these documents to see how bad this security bluff was. They both could be huge. I find Biden's situation being different in that they actively sought to return the documents. Where Trump actively sought to keep them himself.
It's weird that 2 commentors now have mentioned the location of documents as a scape goat. Why? Each office had just as much access as the other, don't lie to yourselves. A resort and office in a public space are both huge security concerns. Any other thing you say about the location is propaganda. I know I'm a just an office IT guy but I know quite a bit about security too. We have to keep server rooms and network rooms up to certain standards for certain clients. Both offices by Biden and Trump were a massive security concern. You are lying to yourselves otherwise.
Also I voted in one Democrat this last election for school board, a local friend of mine. All 20+ other votes when to republicans. I really try to scrutinize both sides.
So I am lying to myself by thinking the main residence of a President, is of a higher security level than an office in a public building vacated 2+ years ago??
You really think Secret Service or any other Federal security agency has been guarding a vacant office for the past 2+ years?
Pit Row
Biden said the Salvation Army Resistance in Poland and Ukraine were guarding it as far as he was aware. Turns out the PennBiden center was funded with over 50 million of money from China
Corn Pop''s got it covered...
It's all propaganda. Each location is shit. A public resort? What about all the millionaires there and their security detail? The cleaning crew, etc... Does the SS (who a lot of people on this forum say we shouldn't trust) vet them thoroughly? If so, how well? Again, both locations are shit.
I've been really researching this lately. Why would he (Biden) give it to Penn and not one of his sons business' or something else he could make money on? Why did Havard and Yale get similar donations? At least it's going to schools, but it seems weird. I remember when my buddy was at Purdue 10+ years ago they had entire buildings of foreign exchange students from China. They were very...offputing? IDK they didn't like Americans and only hung out with themselves.
No president who behaves in a manner they have been for decades. You are correct there.
If Biden refuses to turn over classified documents to the National Archives, I think that the location where those documents are believed to be stored should also be searched and the records seized.
Again, between Biden and Trump, Trump is the only one of the two who had authority to declassify, and retain these records, at the time they were taken. Furthermore, when the documents were discovered, it's the Dept of Justice that should had been notified, and the records turned over to them. Bidens lawyers turning over the documents to the National Archives? Bidens lawyers have security clearance to this level?
Both locations may be shit, but the difference is only one location was legally sanctioned to be in possession of the documents.
My only question is why didn’t Biden have Obama pull off that Vulcan Mind crap and declassify the documents ? Don’t some of you followers believe that that is ok ? How crazy it is that you can give Your Guy the power over your thoughts. If the material is classified SCI and sensitive to national or personal security , it should only be viewed in a SCIF. If either violated this , they are not Your Guy. Tough time to be behind either one of these clowns.
Congress controls the purse strings.
It also sounds as though they have the desire to abolish the IRS completely.
Replacing it with a consumption tax.
Something Neal Borsch was touting a few decades ago.
Never going to happen.
Too many lawyers will be out of business.
And their lobby is strong.
Very strong.
Yes the saying congress controls the purse strings. But in reality, funding has to be initiated in congress, but it still has to finish the process.
In the end, it takes more than just a house vote, I believe. So I think for the next year ( due to omnibus) it's just symbolic.
Democrats always over-play their hand. Another perfect example- Seriously how can they be so klutzy?!
