For me, the first Van Halen song I ever heard is the best, and that’s the first song of the first album: Running With The Devil. That hooked me from the first moments.

Is this some kind of mental test? I have ben racking my brain and I can not come up with a favorite. Other than the need to be forgotten Gary Cherone album, I go with all the songs are the best VH song. Side note, Van Halen was probably the best sounding band I ever saw in concert.

I mean, Summer Nights is pretty rad...

Oh man VH 1st album I think they played every song on the radio, David Lee the SX voice was our local dj that made it even better.  Atomic punk was the hp all out rock song also played on the radio.  Flirting with the devil every hr, little dreamer the same, 9th grade summer was a blast then VH diver down tour they came to town.  Under hwy 41 under a viaduct on a boom box . Was the 1st time I ever really listened closely to eruption & you really got me . We where blown away & couldn’t wait for the concert.  More on that later meeting Alex sun tanning I kept poking him in the shoulder.  I Love all there albums with Dave.  I probably like diver down the best Dave,s voice was the coolest . The album has a new wave punk feel . We had a big group of friends & had huge house parties 9th grade summer . My girlfriend Sherri Jonet the party at  her house is still talked about freakin wild.  Sliding down the 2nd floor stairs into a stack of beer cans , we trashed the house. Both of us got into big trouble we both got mono from running hard all summer.  I remember laying in the grass by the mall entrance both of us laying on each other just exhausted from the 9th grade wild summer.   I end up singing dance the night away a lot. The lyrics r great but it’s not my favorite song.  There’s too many vh2 doa , etc,  3rd everybody wants some was the last of 4 song oncores, in a simple rhythm.  4th unchained, hear about it later, etc.

I remember the debut album coming out and being blown away by Eruption . I know it's a solo not really a song but it was an inspiration for me to pick up a guitar . Spanish Fly on VH2 is incredible also .

I stumbled across the Hot For Teacher video the other day, such a classic.   You are right tho, Panama just rocks.
