I actually did what I posted kinda sorta. About 5 years back give or take my wife went through one of those phases or listened to her friends whatever. Didn’t matter what I did or said she was pissed at me. I had been wanting a tractor. I waited till she had one to many Margaritas and told her I was getting a tractor. Didn’t go into detail and pretty much all I said was I’m getting a tractor knowing she wouldn’t remember. Weekend came I got up early told her I was going to the tractor dealer. Anyway I came back with a 50 HP Mahindra tractor with implements on an 18ft heavy duty trailer. She was not happy ya might say. What made it even worse was my neighbor came out to look at it. First thing he said which was true….. he told me he was getting a new tractor. She’s still pissed about the tractor but I got a tractor.
Every now & then my wife will come into my garage and start counting bikes….I walk her over to the shoe and Hand bag closet…. to remind her that we both collect things…

It's truly impressive how they are able to spend multiple thousands on Louis Vuitton or Gucci bags but they think we are stupid if they spend the same money on games/bikes/bicycles/cars etc.
Some years ago I had a GF that was, well I just knew it was not going to be a super long-term thing. A little too much maintenance required. So about a week after I called it quits, I went and bought a bike. I still refer to it as the best trade in I have ever made. Hahaha.

If you guys follow my advice, you buy a new racing scooter and your wife leaves ya……….she didn’t like ya to start with. Trust me…….I’m very experienced in such matters!
