They really really want people to bet on anyone but Jett. If I could bet in UT I’d sprinkle some on Chase and Eli IMG 1818 2

yea they really want people to bite on that too, would be a suckers bet though. He wasn't close to the speed needed to win last week.. Chase being +700 and Eli being +550 is pretty interesting too. Favoring Eli over last weeks winner and even Webb.  One things for sure they expect Jett to get back on form.

Betting individual SX races seems like mostly a suckers bet to me.

But, if you can get Roczen at +2500 every round, I think there's a decent chance he wins at least one race this year.  So you would have a positive expected return.  Even better if he gets his win early, and then you stop betting on him for the year.

That stood out to me as well. Hunter is +1000 and I'd say he is a lot further from a win than Roczen.

I guess betting in general is for suckers 😆

the lines will get tighter as the season goes, but there is opportunity early for people that want to put their nuts on the table.  +700 for Chase to repeat as winner this weekend looks mighty tasty.

I’ll probably put some on Eli if those numbers stay but there’s nowhere to bet that at the moment from what I can see.

Yeah I checked out the app they link and it only offers pick ‘ems. Betonline.ag has Tomac at +330 at the moment.

NXTBets doesn't offer betting themselves, do they? From my understanding, they just link you (for a kickback, I'm sure) to sites that do offer SX betting.

So what are these odds even posted for?

Call me a Sucker for betting on individual races. Also placed that bet before the new year.

You bet $100 you win $2500 if he wins....   On Jett you would need to risk $125 to win $100.  I don't gamble, but I watch a lot of UFC where the money line is I think the only way people wager.

Strange that Cooper is a favorite over Chase on NXT bets

I made this bet on underdog. Waiting for the rivals to be determined to put a little money on that as well.

I’m new to this whole betting thing,

What’s the current options in terms of platforms and which has the best odds?

Might throw some pocket change at this upcoming round.

I put down 100 usd on Chase for 3.5x, and 50 usd on Tomac for 4x. Pretty decent hedge.

I guess that isnt a big enough number for the US.

So it could be just +25

Just like when they use the same unit of weigh for potatoes and spaceships.

And of course there is the whole fractions thing, wasnt there a burger chain that did 1/3 Burger, that didnt sell because they thought the McDonalds 1/4 was bigger.

Of course it’s not big enough. We measure things by football fields!

$100 is a standard bet for a lot of people. What sounds better bet 100 to win 2500 or bet $1 to win 25. They are both the same but one sounds better and it’s a ploy to get people to bet more $$

And that is why people have a gambling problem.

1 to win 25, cos when you lose, you lose a dollar..

That underlines my 1/3 to 1/4 post.

It has no place in moto.

Why not?  Every sport hell even election these days has betting lines. Why shouldn’t moto?

I don't think you can legally bet in California.  But I think there are workarounds.

(Strangely, Pulp MX's fantasy league IS legal in California, but illegal in some states that allow betting.)
