Uh, no.

Besides…

Do you know where the “Make America Great, Again” statement…indeed, the phrase…actually comes from?

Who said it…? Where…? When…?

Besides, I find it interesting that you want to evoke Raegan. 🤣

So, as I was saying in my OP…3 years ago, yesterday…a sad example of how Joe and company shit the bed…

I'm only invoking Reagan to point out the hypocrisy and lunacy that has befallen a once-great party.

One that I never agreed with, but one that was nonetheless legitimate.

Reagan would be horrified that Trump had co-opted his slogan all the while bending a knee to Putin, Kim Jon Un, Viktor Orban and other authoritarians.

Manny, I know that you had Reagan on a pedestal from our back-and-forths from the Bush/Cheney days. That's why when I first saw you defending Trump back in his early days as president, I thought you were taking the piss. When I found out you gone all-in for him, I was truly shocked.

My question now is, what is going to become of the GOP when he loses again in November and is either in jail or in exile in Venezuela?

So you have NEVER heard RFK Jr speak?

And after only 5 minutes...form the opinion of him that he is "Not very impressive"?

5 minutes,... you already have  RFK Jr. figured out? I stopped having that arrogant, know it all, mindset when I entered my 30's. But you've held onto it into your 60's?

Wow man...   hair trigger much?

No....I've never listened to the guy before.   Clear enough for you this time?

You are so far off base on your personal slam, it's ridiculous.    What I've read about him since he began his campaign, I'm not a fan      I was not impressed by his presence in the video....and  I was trashing Trump for speaking longer than RFK did.            As someone pointed out, he has some issue with his voice, that has no bearing on my opinion of the guy.     Why not back off the valve spring bolts a bit, you're going to blow something.

Unlike some of you guys, I don't spend my life all day filling it with and arguing politics.

Hair trigger?

You are the douche bag who formed an opinion of RFK Jr after  only listening to him for FIVE MINUTES

My god man, where have you been? He's been doing interviews for 15 months?

You are a bit out of touch of what's going on.

I rest my case......  ^^^^^

Another seething/unhinged political message board warrior       One more reason I generally stay out of these idiotic threads.

Well, we don’t share the extreme vision that’s portrayed in your post…in other words, I’m not going with your premise.

I don’t fall for the narrative. I’ll judge The Donald and Biden-Harris on their policy successes and failures.

Which is -exactly- what this thread is about. A REAL POLICY FAIL.

Also, I’ll take the 4 years we had with Trump over the 4 years we’ve had with Biden-Harris.

That’s all there is to it.

For me, and people like me, it’s about Policy. Period.
Here’s a few examples of what I’m talking about…

No new wars, affordable domestic energy, a secure border w/“stay in Mexico” policies and finish The Wall INSTEAD of tearing it down or intentionally LEAVING IT OPEN, No Vlad rolling over borders like we’ve seen with Obama & Biden…TWICE…in The Ukraine, Interest Rates weren’t Carteresque under Trump, take DEI OUT OF THE PENTAGON, kick Hamas out of Gaza…Hezbollah out of Lebanon…the Houthis out of The Red Sea…and fuck Iran up INSTEAD OF GIVING THEM HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS, Bust China’s Balls, reinvigorate LEGITIMATE TRADE AGREEMENTS…

You know, things that will Make America Great Again.

I despise the extremes of both political parties...the problem is that all we have running for office are the extremes.  And extremism breeds extremism.  An increase in extremism on the right is matched by the opposing extremism on the left...and the increase in extremism on the left is matched by the opposing extremism on the right...it's a death spiral.

That is one reason, win or lose, I'm glad this election will be the end of Trump (if he wins, he's done in four years...if he loses, he'll be to old to run again in 4 years)...and I hope the Republican party distances itself from him (and not allow him to pull an Obama and become a puppeteer of the party-pulling strings and directing things behind the scenes).

This is also why I hope Trump wins, because I honestly hope that if Harris loses, the DNC will recognize that their policy as so awful that people would rather vote for Trump than their garbage radical policies, and thus will dump this progressive/socialist/woke agenda (if Harris wins, I think it will further cement the extremist agenda in the party, as it will be perceived that their agenda won-rather than recognize that it wasn't their policies people were voting FOR, but that they were just voting AGAINST Trump).  And then, the radical extremism will continue for another 4 years (and possibly 8) further accelerating the extremism death spiral.

I believe it is far more likely for the GOP to distance itself from Trump, than it is that the DNC will dump their progressive/socialist/woke agenda....so my optimism that the the extremism death spiral will end, is a pipe dream, because I think the radical progressive/socialist/woke agenda is so far ingrained in the DNC that they'll never depart from it...and therefore, in response to their extremism-and to match it, the base of the GOP will bring to rise another extremist to replace Trump.

Well she agreed to two out of the three debates.

Stand up.

No crib notes, which she wanted.

Not sure about the microphone situation.

Be interesting to see how she weasels out of more of her long standing political views in the next two weeks.

Crazy that she now wants to throw money at a border wall.

Can't wait until she pops up above ground to give us her foriegn policy plans.

🤣😂🤣

I may be a giant retard, but if someone could explain to me how they would address Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, Iran, and Russia without starting any new wars I would love to be educated.

Oh shit, I didn't realize you were a kid, all your posts makes so much sense now!!! (Kidding) Little ripper you got there! Love the Binky Bro hat, where did you get that? I'd love to get one of my nephews.

In regards to the video, having a couple special needs in the crew, I think it being described as you're describing it is a reach. One of my nephew's is all over the place and a little course correction from time to time is par for the course. Maybe he was just giving him one of those classic Trump handshakes?! (Kidding, again).

In regards to the other stuff...
Look no further than Mark Zuck and Meta coming out and stating the White House pushed and gained access to censorship. Censorship on platforms where you yourself are the product and trying to curb what is seen, heard, viewed as acceptable, or not is infringing upon the first amendment.
Eh, Facebook is a business. While I don't like it anymore than I like when shit gets clipped here on Vital, I don't see it as an infringement on rights. No one is saying you can't say it, they're just saying you can't say it here.

My wife used to work with special needs children and this IS NOT how you handle them. Ahh the joy
I tip my hat to your wife! Not and easy job but a very important one (a few of my wifes friends work with special needs kids and they don't get nearly enough praise for the work they do).

You know what, I would love a hug! I am going to go get one from my son as a matter of fact right now.
Go get that hug!!!

By the way "joy" is not a policy
I agree, "joy" isn't a policy, but you can look at places that are voted "the happiest countries in the world" and you'll see they have several policies in place that reduce the amount of struggle it takes to find joy in life.

nor can it be injected into a candidate and the people behind her despite the ever loving effort of your media.
Hate to break your heart, but, it's not my media. I'm not really into the whole, "let me tell you what we noticed", type of shit.

Sounds like zuck is a bit apprehensive about a change of adminstration.

I posted a very detailed article by a virologist about the benefits of hydroxychloroquin, during the panicdemic.

Got a 30 day jail sentence, claiming that I was spreading false, and dangerous information.

🤣😂🤣

Followed up by another 30 day, when the day it expired, I immediately posted, "it came from CHYNA"

🤣😂🤣

Yes, facebook is a business and can limit what it allows on its platform. When it makes those decisions at the behest of the government, that is absolutely a violation of the First Amendment.

Why, yes, at your sarcastic invitation, I will…

I don’t think real world diplomatic & military strategies that have worked in the past are that hard to find…yet, since this administration has BOTH funded Iran and it’s proxies and has shown absolute diplomatic intellectual weakness…like giving up the Red Sea to the Houthis…

Btw, have you seen todays GREEK TANKER IN FLAMES …?
https://www.reuters.com/world/greek-flagged-oil-tanker-appears-be-leaking-oil-pentagon-says-2024-08-27/

“WASHINGTON, Aug 27 (Reuters) - The Greek-flagged crude oil tanker Sounion that was recently attacked by Yemen's Houthis is still on fire in the Red Sea and now appears to be leaking oil, a Pentagon spokesman said on Tuesday.”

30D9BCC0-2256-4683-9F0A-AA4B9D3389E0

That’s todays example of the WEAKNESS that your team has, once again, shown in their diplomacy and ability to let terrorists take over The Red Sea…unless Reuters is some right-wing media org? 🤣

QUESTION: How much of this kind of shit happened on The Donald’s Watch?
ANSWER: He literally assassinated IRGC leaders responsible for this kind of shit.

And, now, after four years of Biden-Harris outright shitting the bed…you’re telling us we need four more years of this?

Kamala is finally going to do an interview! Wow a Presidential candidate will finally talk to a member of the press and answer questions!

Of course it is on a friendly network, most likely pre-scripted questions, and tape delayed by several hours. So if she says anything really dumb they can hit the edit button before it airs. Can't take the chance of a live broadcast FUBAR, must stick to the script.

But at least we get to hear her answer questions, rather than just reading from a teleprompter a speech someone else wrote.

And it only took 2 months!

Edited to add- it is Thursday night on CNN.

Oh, and I want the last 3 1/2 years of my life back and accountability for everyone involved in perpetrating those frauds.  We can start with Zuck, Joe and Kommie.

So now the broad's interview is going to be on tape delay.

Bad enough that she has to have her court jester at her side, now we can't even enjoy her getting all word salad'ed out, before they edit out the good parts.

What a complete shit show.

ANSWER: He literally assassinated IRGC leaders responsible for this kind of shit.

And, now, after four years of Biden-Harris outright shitting the bed…you’re telling us we need four more years of this?

Well nothing happened in Ukraine during DT's presidency because Putin probably figured Donald would give him everything he wanted anyway. If DT pulls the US out of NATO do you think Putin cares about NATO on his borders? Trump loses, Biden comes in and says no we're not leaving NATO, and suddenly Ukraine is back on the board.

And I understand the desire to go back to policies that worked, I just don't see how they continue to work. You're right, Biden and this administration has allowed shit to pop off, but that genie is not going back into the bottle as all of this is interconnected. I don't believe simply asking everyone to pretend the last four years didn't happen and go back to the way it was is a realistic solution. How do you solve the Hamas issue diplomatically? Do you piss off your ally Israel? Do you appease Israel and say fuck Iran? Either we're all the way in or all the way out. That's really the only way I see it, and the actors who live in the region obviously believe that the conflicts are worth bloodshed.

Either way, I'll respect your opinion on the matter, but I am not so optimistic, regardless of who holds office come 2025. Even looking at what Trump did with sanctions aimed at tempering Iran and the IRGC, and imagining trying to implement them now, in the geopolitical climate of 2024, and I don't see them working as they did during his presidency.

EDIT TO ADD: I also want to say I'm truly not trying to be antagonistic toward you or any other member of this board. I want you to be right. I don't want war, I don't want Americans to die in the middle east for corporate interests. But I'll also be the first to acknowledge that war has been really, really good to the United States of America and I wouldn't put it past the powers that be to push us in to war to fatten their pockets and the pockets of their lobbyists.

So now the broad's interview is going to be on tape delay.

Bad enough that she has to have her court jester at her side, now we can't even enjoy her getting all word salad'ed out, before they edit out the good parts.

What a complete shit show.

Excellent commentary and reflection.

Your take on The Donald and Putin seems very mainstream-media based…there’s a lot more going on when you read foreign press or the actual statements made.

The Donald killed Russians in Syria…No fucks given. The Donald made it clear to everyone…don’t fuck with the US.

He didn’t threaten to pull out of NATO…he told them to pay the fuck up,or he wouldn’t back them when Vlad came rolling in…so they paid up.

Dig deep & you’ll find some really interesting stuff.

Have a great week.

It's called "Peace through strength", "Walk softly and carry a big stick", "Don't start nothin, there won't be nothin", Don't fuck around or you won't be around".  All tried and true approaches.

You may be correct in the very specific language of what DT said, but I'm not sure it precludes what I said from being true either.

Saying "we'll pull out of NATO" and "We'll pull funding from NATO" may as well be the same thing if you're Ukrainian, Polish, or Russian.

We need to recall that those countries WERE NOT “paying their dues”…which I think is 2% of their GDP…but, they sure hell are now. 🤣
