I have a 2017 CRF450r and we all know one of the biggest disadvantages with this bike especially on a hard pack track is the incredibly stiff frame. I haven’t seen one person complain about buying FCP or WCL motor mounts but are they really worth $400? Couldn’t I just drill my stock mounts for free or are the titanium fronts really that much better? Just an honest question. If they really make the bike that much more comfortable I’m willing to try them.
If you can afford WCL mounts, I'd say "Yes" try them. To me, I felt a big change on just using uppers, then tried uppers and lowers. All for the better IMO.
Opinions from riders who have tried them seem mostly positive. Opinions from riders who haven't tried them, seem to be against them. Here's a long thread about engine mounts.

Have you backed off the torque 10% on every engine mount/hanger and swingarm pivot already? This alone helps quite a bit and should be done before changing any mounts as the "reset" can be a positive update; some from the factory have been over-torqued or a bit stiff without grease on the thru-bolts. Taking out the rear tank bolts is minor, but a plus as well. Can also "thin out" the front engine bolt (#19 on frame schematic) on a lathe if you're creative...
$180 for WCL uppers isn't too bad, considering just OE 18's are about $82 for the pair. $305 for the WCL combo is more tempting. Would never pay $400 for the FCP upper/lower combo, however.
