What’s your order number? Every order I had in the system shipped as far as I’m aware but I can see where it’s at for you. You can also email me at michael@workschasislab.com

Ahh, Italy order! DHL didn’t have an opening for pick up early in the week, they’re scheduled to scoop yours up today, I’ll swap the label for something a bit more expedited to shorten that arrival time. Thanks again for your business, please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you.

$300 for a set of engine hangers? Holy fuck.... that's a lot of coin for subjective performance increase.

Where are all the engineers who measure stuff?

how crucial would you say engine mount bolt torque spec is? Say just tightening the engine mount bolts by hand and making them snug as oppose to using a torque wrench.

Torque spec is very crucial as well.

Michael will these mounts be offered in the future for 05-20 Yz250 and 08-17 Rmz450? These bikes have long production runs so alot of them are out there. I am on the fence about getting a new 450 next year. I may just scoop up a pristine 15-17 Rmz450 and slap the newer generation forks on and call it a day.
Thanks D

Tons of people also gladly spend that much money on graphics kits that (gasp!) have no performance increase.

Move along, tight wad

I’ve been weighing which older bikes to back track to and considering the range of the older RM-Z mounts, we will make those. Just measured them out, also going to get to two-strokes a little later in the year. Myself and my partner Scot are doing as much as we can after we finish our regular jobs for the day. Laughing

Well, the data is irrefutable. They are softer and offer more flex. Can you (or I) feel it? Does it make a measurable difference to your speed? That's opinion based.

Out of curiosity. Would these engine mounts take out some of the felt vibration in the pegs and bars on two strokes?

I grew up riding two strokes and am used to vibrations. However, comparing the new KTM's to my yz250 made me realize how much vibration there is on bikes designed years ago.

You're right, my bad. Apologies.

I think it was the money comment. Always been a pet peeve when people criticize how others spend their dough.

Regarding the data...engine mounts seem to be the new "it" mod in the last few years, especially on race teams. I doubt they would be so widely used if they didn't have a noticeable affect on performance and handling.

For those saying you can’t tell the difference they are absolutely wrong, I would say if you cant feel the difference then there is something wrong with the rider. I have been running the stiff lower and medium upper on my 16 KX450 and it absolutely changed the feel of the chassis and allowed the motorcycle to turn into turns, even inside ruts with ease... for a Kawi! The other thing that I enjoyed was how it made the upper chassis through the handle bars more compliant feeling. I will be selling my current motorcycle and the second item I will purchase after springs for my 2019 KX450 will be the mounts!

Bought several oem head stay mounts for my cr250 and modified each one differently. Spend a day just swapping em. It changes the way the rear of the bike feels for sure.

ML512,

I have looked at buying these multiple times, but haven't pulled the trigger. Can you provide some more detail on how the diff combos of mounts affect the 2019 YZ250F? I am a 30+ Vet novice / intermediate and Ride the tracks here in Socal (Cahuilla & Fox mainly). Love the bike, just curious on what they do to the chassis feel. I have always ridden hondas and have access to one, so maybe a comparison?
