It was old gear from 1976 when Maico colors were blue & yellow.
They only just changed to red & yellow in 1977 with that red-frame AW.[/quote:102c2]

Heres a few of Brian from that race we put on at Rio not too long ago. He got second on the box in both Evo & Vintage Pro behind Marty & Too-Tall Bell.
Good to see that Bryan still hauls the mail. [/quote:12aec]Yeah he can! Howerton woulda won the Vintage Pro that day but his Husky broke a tranny and he DNF'd moto 2. Kent was truly hauling it on that old bike.
Shaun Kelley was / is a chump, and was bit*#-slapped regularly by Bo Koch, Glen Urqhart, Keith Duffy, Mickey Pizzatola, Glendon Johnson, and Andy Howard, among others.

Found one slide with Shu and who I thought was you....only prob Shu covers the pic and can see only a white jersey w/ blue sleeves.....can't figure out who; thought may be you...

Pat Rickter wore white with blue sleeves when he raced on KTM's.
Yeah, I remember the white jersey while on the KTMs, but don't think he was there that day...almost positive. He was ridin' MotoXFox Suzooks that year; '77.
Thanks for helpin'....shoot, might be wrong though.
Could've sworn Bobby rode an open Maico with #3 on it local like in '78 thereabouts.
I'm not sure about the frame, it seems to me that in 1977 the AW were red. At least the ones I sold and worked on at a little Maico shop (Moto Meister) were.

Open Classers had the red tanks and frames(black top ends) from the pics I've got.
'78 started the Mag; both 250/Opens red tank/framed with the black top ends.
