I seem to confuse myself when it comes to hose sizes
My fuel line is 3/16" ID and carb vent tubing is 1/4" ID right?
And what is a good fuel line to buy and won't get crusty hard in two weeks?

We get this from parts unlimited but you can get it from most distributors like western power sports or Dennis kirk . You can only buy it in bulk from most places but its nice to have several sizes. The blue and then there is the transparent pink that comes on most bikes from the factory, the trick is finding the small vent line size. But they stay flexible.

Yes those sound like the right size fuel lines. I've used the blue polyethylene line for many years but I've found the ethanol fuel does eat it over tim, you can get about 2-3 years before it goes buttery soft and develop leaks easy. I've switched to the expense black fuel line from motion pro and so far has been trouble free for the past two years. I know they just rebrand stuff but I haven't figured out what the non motion pro fuel line is to save some cash. You can also get the pink stuff from jet r us but I haven't tried their fuel line.

There's a small engine parts company called Pantano out of Manalapan that carries the tygon fuel line. I found them on ebay. Not sure what carb you're running but my PJ and PWK's use 1/8id x 1/4od vent and 1/4id" fuel supply. They have a thin wall 1/8id line so make sure you order the 1/4"OD.

That's one thing that psses me off about Motosport, RM, etc is they don't carry this stuff. You used to be able to get Tusk brand.

Try Helix fuel line. Is good for up to 10% ethanol and comes in many colors. Solid and transparent.

I don't Nate. I'm glad you said that. Because I'm sure people ignore my PMs but I feel better knowing there is a chance they aren't getting mine either.
I'll email you Sir
