The banned video by taco puttin on the Ritz had what they deemed black face in it. It's up on YouTube now. If that would have happened today that song would have been canceled instead of becoming a hit song.

They’d cancel that, but have no problem playing Cardi B’s WAP and whatever that Big Dick Energy song is that’s on the radio. They barely even edited that one, they just changed “dick” to “dck”. You don’t notice this shit until your kids are in the truck with you, then you start smacking buttons.

Are there any musicians involved in that genre anymore?

I loved the days when we were getting brilliant music from the African American community.

The players and singers were phenomenal.

Now it all seems like people are letting the machines do the work, and that saddens me.
