I love the looks of it and am really hoping the "new control scheme" makes it a little more fun and less complicated for the casual player. Im not a gamer but I love MX games but I feel Untamed is a little too advanced for me to get good at with the amount of time I have to game.

For example, to this day the funnest MX game I ever played was Carmichael 2002 on PS2. It was easy to pick up the controls and all the difficulty was in the speed of the competition and how smooth you were flowing on the track obstacles, notsomuch the personal battle with bike control which is where I find myself frustrated.

Just my personal experience. Im buying Reflex regardles BTW.

I played it this weekend, it was amazingly good. But it takes some getting used to, that's for damn sure.

It does develop ruts which get deeper, and riding over them instead of in them makes the controller vibrate. Panic revving or tapping the rear brake will have the game effect it does in real life. The movement of both joysticks is necessary to get the bike to go where you want it when it's on the ground or in the air. This is where it gets tricky, because too much input makes it fly off track, too little makes you beeline for the Tuff Blocks. The graphics are great, and the distance and scale of the jumps seemed to be realistic, not the 150ft doubles in the middle of a rhythm section we have in some games. Lean back when you blitz the whoops, square up the turns, and controlling your speed is super important.

I'd tell you more, but I kinda can't remember. I had to run off and do some work, not to mention the Rockstar I was drinking fogging up my brain.

man, I cant wait for this game to come out! Good thing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be coming out in a couple weeks. November would go by sooo slow if COD didn't come out. haha. I'll be playing that until Reflex comes out.
