Who is Austin Root?

He also is on the starting list for the ADAC MX Masters Series in Möggers. Does anybody know something about him and why he is trying his luck in Europe?

He raced outdoors in the US as a privateer last year. There is a Steve Matthes/RacerX privateer profile podcast with him from some time last summer (2018). I believe his girlfriend is from Germany, and that is his connection to starting up a European racing campaign.

Looks like he just barely missed earning a national number in 2017 (by 1 or 2 spots and 1 point) and 2018 (by about 8 spots and 4 points).

I rode his place here in the states a couple times on a random invite when he was still here. He’s a good guy and a hard worker, just like his dad. The whole family

His dad is a member here and did one of his kx250f race bikes in the build section. Very nice kid, I got to talk to him for a bit at budds creek last year. Those guys love Moto.

Root family is a Great local determined family.

Austin raced Nationals, AX and 2 GP’s here in Charlotte and FL and attracted some European interest. Huge step going to Europe and hope he clicks!

His dad posted a TOP level 2019 250 Husky build here on Vital.
