The bike, injuries, and racing a 450 is harder then riding one...

Injured his shoulder at A1. He's come back pretty well but there's no way he's riding at 100%. I just hope he doesn't have to get surgery like Hahn or Wilson.

I hope he will be more competitive come outdoors. The more riders battling for 1st step the better.

i haven't given him the credit he probably deserves this year... i think it's just injuries and trying to come back when he's not healthy. dude needs to just save it for the outdoors and skip the last 3 (but i'm not the one writing his contracts so wtf am i to say anything)

Anyone who doesn't think anyone of these factory bikes is capable of winning is wrong.

kicking Stewart and Reed's ass at Seattle and Vegas his first year is impressive.

i'll agree it wasn't setting the world on fire, but Reed and Stewart were SX Gods among men at the time.

Reed also set the SX world on fire his first season, so add his name to the pot

I'm a huge ET3 fan, but I honestly think he's a 250 guy. I said that prior to him racing the 450 and got flamed. Time will tell, but I honestly don't think the 450 suits him. I REALLY hope he proves me wrong and kills it though. That being said, I wish more factory guys would ride the 250s outdoors like they used to do...or be given the choice to do so. Guys like Lamson, Ramsey, and others just rode the smaller bike better.

Some guys never adjust to the big bikes...we will see. If he can't do it next year, that will tell the tale.

Getting injured in the first heat race of the year and missing the first 4 weeks of racing is no way to start you rookie 450 season. And then he got hurt again at Daytona during practice and missed 3 more races.

Eli only has 7 main events under his belt so far out of 14 rounds. He will be fine in the future but this year he was set back right from the start.
