Anyone see the Ukrainian special forces guy on his trusty ol' CRF? Extra points for the 'Nam spec camo pants too.



I know this isn't hugely conversation worthy in itself, especially without getting political and getting clipped, but it did get me thinking about the Moto scene in Ukraine or nearby countries. Anyone been over there to ride or have any stories?

Before the reds got rowdy of course.

I remember when I was looking at pit bikes for my nephew to learn gears, I saw a few pics of US (unsure who) and UK (SAS) guys on blacked out Chinese pit bikes for a small and disposable infil method, but even those things would be pretty damn noisy in the dead of night.

Needs camo spoke skins to be legit.

And also, someone set that mans sag. Front end is going to push right past enemy front lines with that set-up.

Russia and Ukraine should both send their best fmx rider to a Red Bull X-Fighters type event to compete against each other, winning athlete's country wins the war. War is over and freestyle gets a bit of a revival. Plus great advertising for Red Bull. Win win.

Lot`s of things are getting donated to Ukraine. Bikes as well. My brother donated Yamaha Grizzly quad that went to SF forces.
I`ve been to Ukraine to sidecar World Championship round. It was some time ago. It was alright. Lots of people.

There are guys here who modify them a little. Like a supprt up front for RPG and in a back folding bed to transport wounded if needed.

That is pretty cool man, thanks for sharing and interesting to hear about racing sidecars over there... That sounds about as crazy as things get, sidecars at world champs pace in Ukraine, bet it was a good time!

Agreed it sounds nuts but it shouldn't surprise anyone, how much has been spent indirectly fighting our (US, UK, etc) current adversaries via unorthodox, proxy or just secret and classified means for half a century... billions on top of billions on top of, well, it is what it is and we all know it, Ukraine is just the latest, ain't there fault. We've kicked in over 1.5 billion GBP in just lethal aid, and we're tiny haha.

I just thought the pic was cool to see, as was the quad pic Kongols posted, and on a tangent I wondered if anyone had any not-so-typical European stories to share like his sidecar mention. If nobody has anything else to add no worries 👍
