Add to his 50 supercross wins and 98 total ama wins?

For bench racing sakes, if Rv wins the gp title, would that be equal , less , or more impressive than the 24-0 seasons, rc and james had? And all 3 are great riders ,with their own resumes. Imo if he wins the gp title, he ranks #2 behind rc.
IMO it puts him ahead. Arvee has had some epic, unrepeatable rides in one off races (2007 MXdN to name one) and also enough major championships to make him equal to these others and for sure in the same conversation.

If he wins the GP championship against a healthy field and then closes with a MXdN team win afterward..................

Arvee will be the GOAT.

Both are amazing, but James will be remembered s arguably the fastest of all-time. I don't think the same could be said about Ryan.

You are ignoring the fact that of all the Series they have competed against each other, Stewart has won ONCE, and RV has won every other time.

No, not at all! Just giving outsider shit! I'm actually really excited to see RV go over there! I applaud him for one of the reasons he gave for going. I think he knew he couldn't get MCs or RCs records so he wanted to do something that no one else has done. Everyone says RV doesn't give a shit about records, but I think he does, otherwise he would have just retired. What better way to add to his legacy than win a GP title!

You either live in a different reality than everyone else or truly don't pay attention to anything in the sport. I'm guessing the latter since you think regional titles count as majors.

When has RV ever given a fuck about records? Actually, let me rephrase that, how many times has RV said he doesn't know or care about records?!?!

He left because his knee is still jacked and he didn't want to grind out another year, he wanted a change, Kawi wouldn't let him quit without buying out, so he found something else.

Dude, you don't comprehend reading very well! Never said regionals are majors, but they still count in the record books otherwise they wouldn't keep track of them!

Did you miss the part where I said "ONE" of the reasons? Geezus Dude!

And keep telling yourself that RV doesn't care about records! Someone with the competitiveness of RV, cares about records! All the greats do!

BTW, I kick all y"alls asses at Madskills every week! Top 10 in the world bitches!Shocked

People will always look at RV and marvel at all of his great accomplishment. People will always look at James and feel like he could have done so much more. Even you RV fans know that if everything had lined up right for James, he would have broken every record.

JS is not even on RC or RV's level of legendary. Sure he has many wins. His 24-0 year was one of the weakest fields ever to line up. If he didn't have that his stats would be way down. Lets face it him and Reedy have almost same amount of SX wins and titles.

JS is overrated in many ways. I was reading another Matthes article where he said some rider would be the favourite for the title (if JS7 doesn't line up). Every year sine JS has been racing he has been picked the favourite for the SX title. Every year he disappoints (mostly). When was the last time he even ran runner up in a championship?

OK honestly argue against this. Since RV and James have both been in 450s they have lined up for 6(?) championship series. Of those 6 James has won one championship, definitely an accomplishment for any rider. RV has won 5 of those 6. Now I don't know about you but if I were to compare careers 5 titles is better than 1.

I'm talking about series where RV and Stewart both were competing. When Dungey won RV was out.
