That seems weird, why take two 250F riders? I mean I guess they could run the open class, still seems odd to me.

Remember when Dungey raced the 450 for the first time at the Des Nations, I think Barcia will do better than him.

I don't see that as controversial at all. Alessi is not consistently one of the top three riders. Especially considering a deep sand track. Maybe he'll prove me wrong today.

I agree... if you pool the top 5 250 riders and top 5 450 riders Alessi is not in the top 3 either.

I guess on second thought, it should be fine. Barcia is definitely fast on a 450. Roger usually picks for consistency tho.

AC & Reed got him that first Moto M1-MX2 in Italy.
2nd Moto MX1-MX3 he raced that year AC was out....due to a crash on the start.
But yeah with the same type of scenario it's possible he could win a moto over there.

Im guessing its Dungey Barcia Baggett?
Didn't Roger say Alessi most likely wouldn't get the bike support needed over there?

Yeah, they did. When Barcia made that insane scrub pass on Roczen over the finish at Budds, Reed went off saying he's a dangerous rider and that he shouldn't of tried to kill Rocky... or something like that haha.

Just being a drama queen. Even if Barcia and Alessi had the exact same lap times on a 450 who would you want in a high pressure situation with riders from all over the world racing against them?

Whether you like him or not, Barcia isn't giving a F$%@ who is lined up next to him. I like the idea of sending someone who isn't intimidated by anyone around him. Also, he already proved he rips on a 450 and gets great starts.

Reed isn't a fan of Barcia either. Probably has more to do with that than anything.

Prior to event I would had picked Alessi over Barcia. After 450F moto 2, I would not choose Alessi.

Tomac had BB and JB number today.

Most of you fucwads crack me up. If you do not like CR22's tweets, do not follow him. Some of you rival an old women's sewing circle.

3..... including yourself called CR22 an attention whore? So.... why call him a whore? Could you disagree with his statement without calling him a whore?

Not anymore, remember this year we got their sound rule and they got our fuel rule.

They decided to not adopt our fuel spec. But the US did go to the 2 meter max sound test.

It sounded like they did not tell many people about it however. Interesting quote from the article.

"The FIM certainly kept it quiet; the decision to drop the plan was passed on to GP team technical personnel as long ago as last November, but not even riders or federations (earlier this year the ACU specifically indicated that the Maxxis would not follow what they believed to be the new FIM ruling !) knew anything about it."

Don't bother him with facts. He is probably part of this"entitlement" generation that believes all 40 riders deserve a trophy.

if RV was running second in 450's to dungey at present he would be on the team ...no????

I see chads point........i also see the US not winning with the team they have picked.......time will tell. imho of course..Smile
