He's a bit on the sarcastic side, which took me a while to figure out. He can also keep a straight face really well.

I also think he might be okay when silly season is done.

I dont know why everyone talks shit about Davi. The dude just finished third in the sx class for the year. He will have a factory ride somewhere I am sure. I keep seeing him on JGR for some reason. I dont know why.

I think Davi will have a IT type ride next yr. The privateer scene is not a big disadvantage now. Teams like JGR are going to go with riders with lots of upside. Davi has maxed his potential and with all of the talent moving up his slacker style does not have to be tolerated anymore. There are just to many young guys that care out there now.

Davi is going to be outside looking in IMO.

Honda has held up their end of the bargain, good bikes, a great support team, etc...

Team Honda is not full of psychologists and neither was Suzuki for that matter - Davi needs to be convinced he can win. If you show up to the rig on race day thinking you cannot win, you've already lost.

Shitty thing is, Davi can win every race if he wanted to and believed he could. He'll get one more chance to turn it around and I hope he does. He's a good kid.

yeah, but that could be said with all the riders this year. Dungey wouldnt be the champ, windham probably wouldnt have cracked the top three in points, blah, blah, blah. You cant say that because you have to be in it to win it.

Injuries are always a factor. It doesn't discount his finish at all. They don't give out trophies for "woulda shoulda." it's racing , not a merit system.

Davi has Dungey and Reed speed capabilitites. Just lacks the heart to take his training and commitment to that level. This is what others see. And yes, he has had real issues slow his pace from time to time, I think fans get frustrated knowing his potential considering his result average.
