Dang, you beat me to it, I was just about to post that vid. MacAskill is from another planet and not bound to our laws of gravity. Amazing what he can do on a bike! Be sure and watch the bloopers at the end, man he takes a pounding.

so rad, all these videos are put together with so much thought for production and theme. this one was awesome, i really liked the kid starting it out with a bike on his blocks and then that was the entire video.

also, not sure if anyone else got the same feeling, but it really reminded me of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" movie... maybe because of the inclusion of him as a boy playing, his mom scolding him, etc... not sure why lol

Dude, I just saw that video yesterday for the first time. I used to ride and road trip with Tom quite a bit back in the day when he would come down to Oklahoma. He has always had a natural ability to go extremely high, even before he had a lot of tricks in the bag. He was also very laid back and almost reserved in a way the first time I ever met him. Every experience I had with him after that was quite hilarious - he was busy establishing his Dang-Dang nickname. I didn't pay any attention to BMX for a few years and once I started checking it out again he had had a Props Bio, Odyssey sponsor etc. I'm stoked for him to be able to make a living doing what he loves. I don't know if it's ever been talked about in interviews, but one time he tweeted about doing a terrorist attack at some mall (jokingly, of course - dude's wild) and the FBI showed up at his parents' house in Wichata lol. His folks were not too stoked!

Stu Thompson who produced this was a top MTB downhill rider in Scotland who progressed to racing elite at world cup level for a few years before finding his true calling in life as an incredible film producer!
Stu's dad Richard Thompson ran a team called "The Clan" which helped bring on many young Scottish riders into the Downhill MTB scene.

This film is just so special, gotta watch it again!
