We'll see a new champion in West, East, and Outdoors.

No defending/former champions are in the 250 class. Are there?

I would love to see Martin Devalos catch some luck and get a few wins and a championship.
Any word on where he has landed? I think Dean Wilson will have whatever coast he rides on lock.

Dean Wilson is east coast... But so are Barcia and Bagget... I think baggets got it though... Although Wilsons fast, Bagget is just as fast if not faster.

West coast will be people like Tomac, Tickle, and Hahn battling.

Cant wait.

With the new system AMA put in we wont get to see any of the new talent coming in. And with a lot of the guys graduating to the 450s, there will not be as much talent in the 250's. Ill take Wilson, Barcia, and Baggett in the East, and Ratray, Izzi, and Tomac in the West.

I think if Wil Hahn brings the speed and consistency from last year, he will be very hard to beat overall

Don't forget Searle, Musquin and Roczen...

IF Musquin and Roczen adapt quick they should be able to run with Hahn, Tomac and Tickle

Searle won't be far away either. IS tyla West too?

Hahn has got to be favourite so far? followed by tickle... the rest are all rookies...but I dont think it will hold them back too much, then again you never know.. it is totally different to what they have done before.

I think the only thing keeping Barcia from holding a #1 plate this season is staying upright. If he can keep it on 2 wheels watch out because that kid is not afraid to pass anyone at any point on the track.

I don't think any teams REALLY know as of right now... It all depends on injuries, like every year.

Not sure who is racing which coast but there are a handful of guys who will be battling for wins/podiums each weekend I believe..

Every one of the PC riders can win.
Tickle will be super fast now that he is on one of Mitch's rocketships.
Dean is only going to get better.
Rattray is solid.
Bagget will surprise a lot of people.
Hansen is always a threat as well, if he can make it through the first turn.
Searle?

Geico has some podium/win potential as well.
Barcia has got to be up there every weekend.
Tomac.. lets see what he can do in SX.
Wil Hahn was getting holeshots like crazy on his TLD bike, excited to see him on the geico bike.
Wharton?

TLD Squad could sneak up on some factory guys..
Cole Seely is fast, ask DDavis.
Baker is also super sick on a dirtbike.
Craig...I am rooting for Christian big time this year as he will be coming back from breaking his back!

KTM Imports
Musquin
Roczen
These kids haul arse!!

Yamaha..
Izzi.. Hoping he rebounds this sx season!

Suzuki..
Bill Keefe has a solid lineup with..
Morais, proven he can run up front, but needs to stay healthy!
Davalos.. New bike, new program, new Martin??
Anderson/Trettel.. They have a great team/equipment to show everybody what they can do now that they are pro!

HOT/ARMA??
Durham Bro's?? Anybody know what is up with them??

Who did I miss?
Should be a great season.

PJ kills it! Last year at San Diego (rainy/mud race) he was the only KTM 250 to jump the rutted out triple by our seats. Borky tried once.

Good look to PJ!

They're cancelling that rule, I wonder if Austin Politelli will be racing at A1 under the Motoconcepts rig.

In some ways PJ's contesting of the 7 race Australasian Supercross Championship could be viewed as a litmus test on the benefits, or otherwise, of racing down under as a lead-in to the AMA SX season - albeit, the Aussie Super X uses several different race formats.

If PJ stays injury free (both Moss brothers sustained bad injuries in last year's Super X) he may very quickly firm from a "big dark horse" to at least a "small grey horse".

Shouldn't matter anyways, he already holds a FIM license. Would only apply to those looking to earn a pro license for the first time.

I would have liked to see Roczen race nationals here.....though makes sense he wants a world championship first - was so close this year!

If he is anything close to what he was like at the des nations, I'd be surprised if he didn't win at least 1 SX race
