Please read this guys crap for an article. He writes James Stewart doesn't not "Believe" he can beat the Ryan's ? He claims the Ryan's are two RC's, wtf!!! JS7 has fought more hard earned battles with Reed,RC and Windham straight up than than the two Ryan's have to this point in their carriers. That squid JT needs to find another job cause he sucks at writing articles on real pros.
Oh and, maybe Ctrefz787 should write articles for Racerx, show us your credentials :-P

I do think stew will get that edge back, hopefully for SX next year at least

This touches on why 2011 was such an exciting season. In James' mind, he was still better than everyone else that year, or at least was trying to convince himself, due to the challenges of his peers. With that mindset, Stewart put up a hell of a fight on the track. Same for Reed, he had plenty confidence and was in his zone, until Millville. Dungey was coming off a stellar 450 season from 2010. Canard was hot off his 250 outdoor title and MXdN win. As for Kdub. He raced two events in Huston and Vegas, which have a history of lighting his fire. The point is, it takes more than just an outstanding field of riders to make a perfect storm; it takes the right mindset of each racer to go with it, too.

I agree with a lot of what JT wrote, and I'm a long time Stewart fan as most know. This last weekend, we saw Bubba peek out from behind the curtain...and the big smile is back, so obviously James is having fun & in a good place at last.
That...if nothing else should get the Ryan's attention!
2. This is not 2008. That was 5 years ago...half a decade...a semi-eternity in a motocross pro career.
3. He is up against younger, more fit riders who have won the last 3 450 outdoor titles and 4 supercross titles between them and whose own career records eclipse his own in many ways. At Washougal, they flat out smoked him.
I agree that James' talent is off the charts, but lose enough battles with the ground (as he has) and even that will be diminished. The truth is that James won last Saturday because the Ryans had trouble. No Ryan trouble...no wins for 7. Even getting a better start will not help him unless it is a drastically better start.
Father Time and Mother Nature are cruel parents-ultimately to everyone,
I like James and I want to believe but it has been a long time now. I love that he's taken what he could get this summer and has been slowly building it up. He's close...
What happens between the start and finish doesn't matter. All that matters is who gets to the finish line first.
I get tired of the "straight up" talk.
