JS7 displayed unbelievable speed in the heat. Gnarly wreck in the main then comes back to 9th. The dude is a complete psycho. By far the most entertaining racer on the track. I cannot believe the racing.

I didn't think he was going to get back up when he tried getting back on his bike the first time. Amazing ride!

Yeah he is. I can't believe he got back up after that. Rode all 20 laps too on the most gnarly track of the year. Dude is an ironman.

I thought he was done for sure...I don't see how you can get back on a bike and do what he did. It sucks to see him this far out of the championship. Anyone think he still has a shot at it???

pretty amazing...gotta imagine adrenaline helped a little but its like instinctual how he got back on that bike and finished

Augers in, gets up, keeps jumping that wall jump section that no one else was doing and finishes 9th? Just an amazing ride.

I never was a Stewart fan until '06 and '07 when he just kept coming back at Carmichael in the outdoors, no matter how hard he crashed or how fast he had to go, he'd do it. The guy has more heart than anyone and he has more speed than anyone. But he's paid a big price, and he just goes back out there and pays it again if that's what it takes. People can dislike the TV show, the cars, the flash and bling all they want, but when the gate drops the only thing on his mind is he wants to win the race.

Stewart still has a shot at it. He is 23 points behind Villopoto. If Stewart wins the remaining 8 races he would win the Championship.

That was an unbelievable ride. I'm surprised the Astriks crew even let him back out on the track. I'm saddened by the amount of concussions the guy has had though.

I honestly think he needs a new bike. The Yamaha just doesn't appear to be working. He shouldn't have the things happening to him that he does week in and week out. Villopoto looks way comfortable on that Kawasaki. I think if James was on a Kawasaki we would have seen different outcomes a few weeks where he has been wrecking. He looked super sketch in the first few laps of the heat. His front end looks soooo stiff.

And as soon as he got back on the track, he started jumping that wall again while he was in 20th. Freakin' unbelievable. Reminded me of RC in '03 or whenever it was at Pontiac when he looped out about 15 feet in the air, picked the bike back up and got second.

It's the same Stewart from the Kawi. Blazing fast speed, spectacular get-offs. I don't think the bike is the issue. Great ride tonight anyway.

I was a little surprised at that myself. Glad he didn't get banged up any worse and still received some goods points. Good comeback, James!!!

I'm not much of a Stewart fan, but, he showed heart getting back on that bike and going for it. Glad he's ok and hope to see it come down to vegas between him RV and reed.

Man, I hope you guys start liking JS some after his unbelievable performance tonight. That was one of, if not the most impressive ride that I have ever seen. I hope he goes straight to the medical rig after he got off that last lap.
