Something is up with him. I wouldn't be totally shocked if he brought some speed to the nationals but I don't know anymore. Before did a lot of off the track things but you could always say that he was still fast enough to win but now he seems quiet and like he isn't even riding hard.

I wouldn't call anyone a drug addict because they smoke weed and drink with their friends. It's not that uncommon of a situation and hardly a big deal.

I was just referring to the sober comment. That is usually thrown at guys who just finished rehab for heroin.

Heroin? Sober usually refers to alcohol, clean for drugs.

The quote I got second-hand was, "Didn't feel like racing."

Is it not one of the biggest mysteries out there how he can continue to "not feel like racing" in the midst of all the rumors about his sponsors pulling the plug and yet the team still shows up at every race with no rider on the track. It just seems weird.

Since He doesn't talk to anyone but Swap you can take it to mean what ever you want, but I would take it just as stated, He didn't feel like racing.

Save the day for what? I hope he does whatever it takes to get himself back on track in his professional racing career.

I know he was complaining about the bike "cutting out" during the first practice. Back at the truck it checked out okay. That's why he ended up in both 450 practices.

Maybe the ankle bracelet thing doesn't fit in the boot?

Seriously though, he's a very talented rider, anyone who has been out on the track with him knows that. Too bad he can't seem to focus.

Is he racing the outdoors? 450 class? Does he like Dungey handing him his ass for the past two years? He must. Because that is what his results show.
Hopefully he shows up at the Nats and at least rides the amature night pit bike classes. Years ago he was pretty good at those.

He can still get top 10's so therefore he isn't done. A lot of us are just hoping he can do better.

I don't know about him killing it outdoors. Sx main events are like 15-18 minutes long and if he doesn't feel like racing for 15 minutes in Salt Lake (15 laps..) then why would he feel like racing 30 + 2 in potentially worse slop than we just saw? He doesn't appear willing to do the work, so I don't know why anyone is expecting a different result. Not hating on the guy, just reality.

name one person...one single person that has raced professional motocross, won at the top, started fucking up, went away for a while and then came back as a back marker THEN turn it around and then ride to the top once again. name one...

this sport ain't baseball or bass fishing, it's fucking motocross and it WILL spit you out and eat you up then spit you out again. yer lucky to walk away without a limp...IF you CAN get up and walk away.

it's one thing going for it 100%, then crashing hard and spending the rest of yer life in a chair and shitting in a bag like bailey or magoo or ernesto.

it's another thing fiddle fucking around at whoknowswhat%, racing with no passion or heart and ending up in that same chair. ...try living with that while pondering yer future.
