Yes he focused on SX, but he did all his winning on 2strokes. Year after year of such smooth and almost injury free riding, it's truly amazing, and a one of a kind career.

Also, when Hannah was the top dog the sx season was 7 races if I'm not mistaken.

I'd say no, MC actually impressed me outdoors (I don't think he got enough credit for his outdoor riding) but RC just went apeshit fast when he needed to win...and he did it a lot.

RV might have him covered on outside lines in corners. The inside line however....

No...it was a few more I believe. They also had two day events at more than one sx race.

This ain't a 2 vs 4 thread, bro.

After I watched a little of that moto XXX flick, I realized how much harder it is to look smooth on a two stroke, and it made me think just how incredible MC's career is and how smooth he always looked.

When Hannah won his first 3 titles he won 18 of the 33 races, 11 races a season

Hannah and RJ would have been way higher on the win list with longer seasons and the usual less injurys

I'd have to say he is the King of Supercross for a reason... But "greatest of all time" is such a far stretch to call any racer that's ever won championships or even done other things on mx bikes. How can you compare SX to MX? Then add in a guy like Travis Pastrami who has won SX races and title(s)? And Mx races and a title and on top of that has done things on a dirtbike with a style and grace that we will most likely never see again.. I'm talkin double flips, first guy to do a ton of the freestyle tricks and more. Then you have guys like my idol David Bailey who won every race he possibly could and tragically had his career cut short due to injury. Who knows what he could have reeled off had he stayed healthy. I just wish people would appreciate every rider past present and future for what they have brought to the sport.. Wether it be pure entertainment, innovation, or winning streaks or amounts of titles..

But to answer your question.. NO! The GOAT is DDavis410

Only 1 greatest of all time, Dungey's Boss. Not even a contest. These guys are 1 small step below, Hannah, Johnson, McGrath Carmichael , Barnett, Mikkola. Everyone else is a cut below that. I am taking in to account titles, length of career , and the guys they had to beat to win.

MC was so far ahead of the competition talent wise when he turned pro in the 250cc class it wasn't even funny. I think the progression level of the sport now has hit a limit with physics and technology. Until someone learns to teleport through a triple instead of over one, I doubt we will see that kind of domination ever again.

RC competed in 17 major MX/SX championship series; he won 15 of them. Questions?

MC is the GOAT of Supercross, RC is the GOAT of Motocross. Why is that so hard?

24-0 is no joke, let alone twice! To me its real close, overall I'd go with Carmichael. Its hypothetical, but how much did skipping outdoors help McGrath win all those SX races and titles? Not taking anything away from MC by no means, and he is the K.O.S., but I'd give a slight edge to the GOAT. I'm no fanboy either, and at one point I actually rooted for them to lose, but in retrospect its a different story, lol.

MC = King of Supercross
RC = Goat.
Look at win percentages to really call it. I am too tired and a little drunk to do the math.
