Where the hell are the bumps?

Thats the most wide open speed fest of a track Ive seen in awhile. How the hell can I tell if hes any good or not if its just straights and jumps with no rough stuff.?

I had the chance to see him rip at the 2-stroke shootout last year at Sleepy Hollow. MXPTV's video from Budds Creek is a good one too.

Here's his report card, this is his 10th year of racing, he's from Dover DE., very good win percentage

He has raced 207 races, not motos, that's a lot of motos, some events have 3 motos.

so raced 207 events, Won 90 motos He became a B CLASS rider on 12/31/2009

his main competition is going to be Austin Forkner future pro circuit rider & future yamaha factory rider Chase Sexton
Jordan Bailey, Falk, Sean Cantrell, Tanner Stack, & Mosiman
Coty got 19th overall last year @ Loretta's, must of had problems, no top 10's in any of the 3 motos, he does have a
great winning %

Everyone I named beat him @ loretta's, his best finish was 18th overall there. But the kid is fast 90 wins.

Austin Forkner & Chase Sexton are factory riders, Chase will be up there with Webb & Martin shortly.

You know Forkner going Pro Circuit

Martin & Webb, if they stay Yamaha I guess JGR.

Been watching coty for years since he was on mini bikes. He is fast, and has a lot of skill on a bike. I'd venture to say at his current age, he's maybe a little faster than broc schmelyn was before turning pro. He's gotta find a little more speed and get results this year. Should be around 16, other fast guy is Nick desiderio. There are just so many fast kids out there.

First vid I saw of this kid was on a 105 at doublin gap or sleepy hollow. Can't remember exactly but I do remember him making that 2 stroke scream.

According to your stats, he became a B CLASS racer in 2009. Don't confuse the people saying he's been on big bikes since 2009 in the B CLASS. He was riding mini's up until 2013.

Anyway he's awesome to watch ride. Good style.

In amateur racing, I have no idea why more B/C riders aren't riding 2-strokes just for the benefits it teaches. Look at how much momentum that kid is carrying in the corners.

I've always told people... if I have a kid, girl or boy that wants to race, that they will be racing a 2-stroke the entire time. Why? Because if you can't win 98% of your races on a 2-stroke in the amateurs, then you aren't going to be making a career out of it, so why waste the extra money?

lol, I must be a terrible parent.

FYI, I have a 1-year old daughter, so I am actually a parent.

I agree, but that's the AMA's mess. for instance Austin Forkner's stats are B CLASS Y, y stands for youth which is correct.

There should of been a Y included in Coty's stats.

Most Factory Rider kids are not allowed. Exceptions are made for the 2 stroke only class, Like Chase Sexton with
Yamaha.

Here's what I want to see, Chase Sexton, Loretta Lynn's 250 B modified class. 2015 YAMAHA YZ 250 smoker

Terry Varner tuned, NEVER HAPPEN, Yamaha doesn't want their own rider kicking the living shit out of their 250F
How about the starts? the kid always gets good starts, 30 foot holeshot over the field of thumpers. never.

What if your up & comer with Honda & you want to ride the 2 stroke class. Your not with Honda any more.

Here's Austin Forkner's career stats, this is his 10th year. Future Pro Circuit Rider who races full time all over the country

He has raced in 323 Race events.

He has won 224 MOTOS.

Don't believe he is ALLOWED to race a 2 stroke, his 112cc days are over.

I can't check RC's or JS's or Alessi because public stats from the ama started in 2006

coty is a fantastic kid! ive known him and his family for a long time and they are super humble, friendly people. he is in B class to race Loretta's this year. hes a junior in high school, not home schooled. me and coty actually had a chat about his future last month and it involved SAT's and going to college full time after graduating HS. pretty impressive if you ask me.

Coty told me he's aiming for Two Stroke and Collegeboy classes at LL this year. He's been hopping around a bit more than usual this late winter / spring and he's been unstoppable on the 250 locally. He says the bike setup he has now on his 250 is the best he's ever had. He just got off minis last year (Super Mini at LL last year).

Coty has had bike issues in past LL's so don't bank on his past LL results too much. Great kid with a very supporting family behind him. And he's having more and more fun riding and racing and it shows.

Yeah, he'll probably do good @ Loretta's All those other guys I listed will be in 250 stock & 250 mod classes except he
might have to deal with Chase Sexton.

Coty is a cool kid. I've talked to him once or twice. Watching him hit the big table at snake creek (when it was first put in) on a super mini will be etched in my brain forever. I swear he was an easy 30 feet above the ground, smacking the landing every lap.
