A little surprising to see Nichols finally get the start he needed, then drift backwards. Usually gets stronger as the race progresses. Although, top 5 still not a bad race.

Expected a lot more from him this outdoor season... Expected top 3.... he has the speed/skill and certainly the bike....

A lot of people have compared swoll vs shimoda over the years.... shimoda has been doing better in the pros until today... awesome rides by both those guys so early in their careers...
