...but his dog does.
Like I mentioned in another thread. I read an interview a couple months back and when Ryan was asked if he had given any thought about retirement he said that he's been asked that question a lot and knows which way he's leaning towards but that for now his focus was on winning two more championships this year. He's got one down (SX) 1 to go (MX).
The interview was a couple months ago so things could have changed but the way I read it was that he'll honor his contract with Red Bull KTM which comes to an end after the MX season and sail off into the sunset.
We'll find out soon enough.
Hasn't been at the test tracks with the KTM guys.
Riding off into the sunset knowing it was going to be a looooong summer otherwise.
Pit Row
too far?
it was not a comparison of Ryan and James personally, just the fact of no news when it was supposed to be announced as JS7 did continually.................
sadly its over and one of the most "champion" champions this sport has seen............and yes JS7 should be ashamed of himself not having the respect to the sport and fans and industry that gave him what he has
If he announces retirement, the buzz around him will be gone, sales may decline and so on. It's just good business sense - can't blame him for trying to stay relevant.
