1. When RC during warm up lap whips a horrible step up that some other teams didn't even manage to clear after 10 laps.
2. MXDN 2006 Pourcel x 2? doing the big triple at Matterly Basin while Bubba didn't, but eventually did and failed. Maybe it wasn't both the Pourcel? But it was pretty cool to see someone else than Bubba doing amazing things on a bike.
3. Same race, Everts standing up in outline rut passing Stew
4. Cairoli chasing down Tedesco and RV in heat two and passing them, including many other MX3 guys.
5. RV amazing double win at the MXDN 2007 where he smoked everybody! I wish I could have experienced the same thing. That has to be the biggest single race victory ever for a human loving bikes?
6. Pontiac 2002 where RC falls and lands hard, his visor is gone, looking like a snail he manages to top three anyway? The determination he showed there was impressive. I think he said he won the series in that race (over DV).
1-4 I witnessed, 5-6 I wished I witnessed.
I'm sure there are thousands of other moments! Fill in.
Crap, I have the file of Pourcel doing that triple, but nowhere to show it?

The Shop
"RC COMING !!"
Tortelli passing RC MXDN 2001 was pretty cool as well. I understand RC played it safe, aiming for the team win? But who knows? Nevertheless Seb was faster!
mxDn 2003! Not the initial lap, but same jump. You guys should see the leap, it was steep like a wall. Total contraction of suspension, it was more of a hit than a tradition leap that made people jump it.

My second favorite was back in 95 when Jason MaCormick ended up 3rd overall at Washougal in the 125cc class. He had a great battle in the second moto and ended up holding off Ryno for the podium. It was an emotional awards ceremony .
that was a great win for l.w.
Pit Row
Crowd was deafening and all were standing throughout race. MC still on Honda.
Other moments include anything Magoo has done; especially winning MX/Trophee DN where no other Euro Champ had done it before.
Shultz winning 500 Nat Title busted up in '82 and winning Daytona SX believe twice.
Bradshaw winning his last Mt. Morris in '99(think) mudder outdoor O/A. Kinda a swansong ending.
Bailey/RJ Anaheim '86; '90 Atlanta SX for the number of different lead changes.
Lamson winning his 2 125 Nat titles. One of coolest kids and adults ever in the sport.
A guy named Cooper showing up in stationwagon packed and lettin' it hangout at '84 Hangtown; his first Nat.
Billy Grossi easily handling the '74 Hangtown 250 class.
Hannah debut National at Hangtown '76 125 again the invincable Nat Champ Smith.
Danny Turners first moto win in 125 class in '75 Hangtown on the antiquated Bul 125.
Hannah lapping up to Howerton(2nd) both motos '78 Hangtown 250s.
Gave ya enough even though they're are many, many more. Oh yeah; Jim Pomeroy winning Spanish GP in '73.
Marty Moates 1980 500cc USGP win at Carlsbad
Any Honda RC works bike from 82-85
RC going from Kawasaki-Honda-Suzuki
Brian Deegan ghost riding his RM 125 over the finish line jump at the LA Coliseum
Dubach racing in the 80's / 90's / 2000's and still competitive
Any Hannah - Howerton battle, especially the 81 Saddleback National
MC doing the Nac-Nac
Stewart doing things on a bike that defies gravity
Any Pro Circuit party 80's / 90's / 2000's
Another Ryan Hughes goose bump moment is when he came out of retirement and won Hangtown on the ktm 125 when he crossed the finish line he was so pumped and then got up on the podium in tears.. That dude rode with alot heart .
anniebertmojo- good post. Those works bikes; especially Hondas were sweet.
Watching RCs very first SX; 125 at LA Coliseum. Fast, but rough around edges.
Deegan ghostride seemed so cool since he was solid, but not top guy like RC and others.
If Coop couldn't win San Jose, good that Dubach did in '92.
Bob Hannahs last race; controversial MXDN pick in 125 class; a 29 yr old "washed up" Hannah left a winner in that MXdN; '87.
MCs nac-nacs had fans in droves waiting for him to do one being so unique and fresh.
Scott Davis Q'ing his 2nd SX ever; winning his 125 LCQ and getting 15th in main. Personal moment that made me and all his fam/friends proud.
