I think the days of being "super pumped" are over?

The "bro" word is popular now.

Not mx, but using the word "douchebag" is sooo playyyed.

"Dolan"

"At the end of the day"-- that seems to be the popular one now.

My most hated one is "man friend."
(What comes after "boyfriend"?)

Easier said than done but many riders when on the spot for interviews say "you know" waayyy too many times. I'm sure I couldn't do better.

swap-out (see Dave's 'Tank Slap')
square the turn
tuck the front wheel under

It is likely my riding buddies could make you a list, based on my conversations in the pits, but I am drawing a blank this morningSmile

Here's just two of my MANY petrified peeves:

A: Every MX /SX ANNOUNCER : " NO DOUBT ABOUT IT ! " They all let that fly about every

other sentence. Sometimes when they have absolutely NOTHING to say - they

will announce, quite solemnly - "No Doubt About it.". Idiocracy. Count 'em next time

you're at a Supercross, I quit at 58 at PHX SX one time....Yup, 58.

B: " IT IS WHAT IT IS." BlaaaaGHHH. I despise that blurting of nothingness. And there's

folks that think it's quite a noble statement. Sophisticated. Yuk-spflt - I just about hurl

when that stupidity is uttered.

This could actually turn into a fun MX game.

Poster states the cliche', the follow up post must name the rider related to the phrase and then post another cliche' for the next poster to do the same with. And on and on...

'It is what it is"
true enough because it surely isn't what it isn't.... or is it?

"everything happens for a reason", it's called cause and effect, they just don't know the cause is.

Using the pinky side of one hand to huck the jump face created by the palm of your other hand, all the while making bike noises in an attempt to show your friends how you got through that tricky section

I hope that someone else wins some SX races other than Stewart and then can say they "pulled a Hansen".

Reed used up "it is what it is" last season.

In '99 MC used to always say "you can't count your chickens before they hatch" I used to go to school the next day and say that all the time! Even if it didn't make any sense.
