You guys see the look on Ryans face when Erin came up to him after he bit the dust in Indy and his mechanic was trying to get the packed dirt out of his exhaust silencer??
You could see the look of disbelief through his google lens as he glared at the cam... when she stuck the mic in his face.
Luckily he hopped in his bike, they got it started, off he went.
I just shook my head...lol...can you imagine??

I think you're a little late on this subject, but, for what it's worth, RD looked like a deer caught in the headlights, and if he were'nt at a loss for words at that very moment, he totally looked as if he would have answered her. He was saved by his bike firing up.

Yea... Can you imagine someone doing her job? Ryan is out there for one reason and one reason only - entertainment. His job is to give us something to watch. Her job is to give us, the viewers, insight as to what's going on.

She did the right thing. It seems like RC is the only guys who really "gets it".

Just throwin' this out there but the "has made vast improvements in the last 2 weeks" comment is kind of vague. Maybe she could have just meant his results have made vast improvements. Just playing devils advocate, don't throw me under the bus. So much meaning is lost in print.

I guess if everything that you have been working for starts to come together it could play out like that. RV is coming off the injury and stuff, he could have decided in his head his fitness is there now so okay it's time to charge. Erin knows moto and is a true fan of the sport, she's earned her place and you guys are really weak to F with her at all.

Sometimes in racing the word "fitness" isn't used to only describe the level of physical training and endurance. For example, when Massa had his head injury last year, Michael Schumacher was considered for filling in, but because he'd had a motorcycle accident which injured his neck and shoulder some time in the recent months, his "fitness" was considered inadequate for the rigors of racing, since the neck wasn't fully healed. Not because his cardio wasn't adequate.
