Looking to get a 6x10 enclosed trailer. It needs to fit in my garage which means I'll probably have to special order one as most are a few inches too tall to fit into a residential garage. Looking at 4 different manufacturers
Wells Cargo, Carson, Haulmark, and Interstate. Any pro's and Cons versus one manufacturer or another ? Good or bad experiences with any of these manufacturers. Creative ideas ? Handy options etc. ? Other manufacturers to consider ? Just gathering some input. Any info appreciated Thanks !

I had a Haulmark with a ramp door, not too expensive and very well built.

I bought a wells cargo from a trailer dealership about ten years ago. Totally positive experience, it's really easy to distinguish higher build quality side by side as these trailers are very simple machines. Probably could have paid less through craigslist (I guess it would have been autotrader back then), but after a few 100k miles with zero hiccups I feel like it I stole it anyways.

I have a 6x10 wells cargo. Was about $2800 and I was able to buy over the phone and pick it up at the factory. Saved a few hundred $$. Have a look thru some brochures or http://www.wellscargosales.com. Most manufacturers have a base model and then a higher end/heavy duty model with better axles, radial tires, thicker one piece roof skin, 16 on center wall studs. Depends on what you want to get out of it but I went with a Road Force which is a mid grade trailer and I have had great luck with it. Actually planning on putting a bed and insulation in this spring.

Honestly, trailers anymore are like new bikes. Buy the brand name that you can get the best deal on and it will last forever. Most use all of the same components and materials, they're just assembled a little differently. I know a lot of people with enclosed trailers and have never heard one of them say they wish they'd bought a different brand, only different size.

I really like the fit, finish and quality of the Bravo trailer but they are pricey

I know this wasn't on your list, but stay away from United. Poor build quality and lesser materials, at least in the XLV model I bought new this year.

I was able to get a standard Well Cargo 6x10 in my garage with some tricks.

Redrilled leaf spring mounts about an inch lower
Low profile tires
Back in with a big drop hitch or push in on the jack

It's still DAMN close and if its not done perfectly it will scrape going in... but it fits.

Yeah that looks a little close Laughing Wells Cargo has the ext. height listed at 83-3/4" , the opening to my garage is 80" so I need to lower it 4" minimum. Sounds like the same amount you accomplished. It's looking like I'm going to order a custom one. They can make one with the axle flipped ? and I can drop it 3-4 inches just by doing that. I need a couple extra inches for a rack on top to carry kayaks, surfboards etc. Nice job getting yours to fit !

This is my van and my 5x5x10 Haulmark trailer and it would fit in my garage with a couple inches to spare, I had never even thought about it being to tall so i am glad it fit or I would have done some damage. Blush

Anyone know of any dealership websites that have plenty of ALL aluminum enclosed trailers? I was in the market earlier in the year but couldn't find many. Found plenty of aluminum frame trailers with wood floors and walls but not many that were all aluminum.

There's a brand made in the Midwest called "Legend". Light, strong and nicely built.

I have a Neo snowmobile trailer that I use for my bike in the summer. I cant say enough good things about it. Very well built, tows awesome and was less than several other brands in that class / size.

Only thing I can say about Carson, as I have a toyhauler and not a cargo trailer, is that you can get virtually anything you need custom done. Whether it be windows in weird places or different wall height, single axle or double or heavier axle, different skin or color (they have lots of colors) they will do whatever you want. I had them add rear facing windows, ramp door jacks so you can use the ramp like a patio, and also had them add a receiver hitch on the back. They are very flexible with special requests.

With that said, I think it's really important to make sure you are happy with the build of the roof. It's kind of a big deal as you want it to be sturdy and watertight. Minimal seams is good, curved is great, and proper support underneath is important. If it were me I'd throw a step ladder in the back of my truck and go around to the different manufacturers and take a good long look at how they put the top together as well as looking at the frame and support under the floor.

I would agree with that up to the really cheap enclosed trailers that are out there. Most of them come out of GA so I see a lot them around the south. Look at them close and you will see why they are so cheap.

I have a pace and a mct. They seem to have quality in different places. A bit weak in others. Also, a brand might be really good one year, and terrible the next, then good again. You really have to look at them, and decide for yourself.
