I enjoy the calm factor, after years of Ralph screaming and cutting Jeff and Ricky off mid sentence. It's a welcome change.

I still don't enjoy Ricky's performance. He says the same things over and over again, he was the greatest of all time, and he provides pretty much no insight. "Yeah they uh crashed because they uh hit the ground." And he screams anytime anybody bobbles. And Will Christie is still so cringey.

Ricky needs to slow down and at least try to enunciate. Anything with more than 2 syllables and it’s just a jumble.

There was a moment when someone got sketchy in the whoops and Blair started going "oop, oop, ooops" and I immediately thought "That's how a moto guy thinks"

I like Diffey and the others and that's the difference, you can tell both Blair and RC raced, it is in the dialogue.

There is a verbal handshake in the dialogue between racers. You can tell in two seconds of conversation if a guy has actually raced or not. Blair knows the lingo, that makes him comfortable for us.

I think he's doing a great job.

I only wish they mic'd him up a little hotter. Just to put his voice above RC's (as the play by play)

This I agree with, why Blair needs his mic a little hotter

I think Zach is also doing good, better and better as he gets comfortable, but he needs to project his voice more, speak more from the gut and diaphragm, especially when on the floor.

The young lady during the day also need to learn to project her voice. She speaks in a flat speaking tone on the floor of a loud motorcycle race...speak up girl!

Absolutely loving Blair and Rc combo.

Zach o has some great insights, especially the Friese situation, how he’s used to just getting swallowed up to the back of the pack, but now he needs to learn to actually race the guys to stay up front.

Also, his updates on the whoops were very helpful during the race. You just know he is noticing the small things on track that us fans want to hear.

He has a bit to work on, but kudos for jumping straight into the deep end.

You can tell how good Daniel Blair is when you watch his 'Blair's Breakdown' segments. He's super comfortable with all the riders, he knows their hot buttons, he gently shit-talks with everybody and that comfort comes out in the broadcast in the booth. Great together in the booth!! I like them both calling the races and give Zack a chance he will be great after learning how to do the job, Will C needs to just ask the damn question already, don’t change a thing and picking the top five is freakin tough this year!!!!!

I couldn’t agree more! Keep Daniel and RC in the booth they are a great pairing. Zach doesn’t seem to be doing too bad either... although RC did ask him and question about Ando and got no response haha.

Just an idea I have but wouldn’t it be cool to have them follow a new mechanic around every race to fill in the spots that are cringe?!

I was curious about that too. I'm guessing technical difficulties or Zach was talking with someone on a team or something.

Zach has some work to do. Off to a good start. He's still in the honeymoon phase where RC is giving him softball questions. Maybe that's how it always is but I notice it more now it seems than before.

Ricky has improved considerably year on year.. I have been watching old bar to bar videos lately and you can really notice it..
He still has a few hillbilly sayings and dumb things he says from time to time, but I still enjoy him in the booth..

This is the truth nobody is admitting. Blair needs to up the excitement factor. His announcing style is drama and story lines above all else, no matter what is happening on the track. Absolutely terrible at calling the race action pass for pass.

Having a guest visit the booth each week would also spice things up. Doesn’t have to be a current or former pro, just someone with knowledge of the sport and riders. Heck, maybe even a “fan of the week” in the box during the LCQs! Send in your self-addressed stamped envelopes to Feld Entertainment, and you, too, can sound like a moran in front of millions! Well, maybe not millions, but a lot of people anyway!
